Bobbi Brown Nail Polishes- Siren Red and Tuxedo Black

This evening I've been trying to decide on a nail polish to wear throughout Christmas and my trip to New York, and what other than the brightest of Cherry Red polishes and one of two new Bobbi Brown releases, Siren Red.

Siren Red* and Tuxedo Black* are both new Bobbi Brown releases and brought in as limited edition products, they're perfect additions into my collection. Red is known to be the best shade to wear on your nails as it compliments a neat shape the best, offering a lovely pigmentation for a classic nail look and Siren Red is a dream. Pretty love/hate, Black nails, or more of a Dark Grey/Black in this case aren't everyones favourites but personally, I can't get enough of them and I tend to wear them all year around. Tuxedo Black isn't the Blackest of Blacks that I have come across, but it is still very lovely and two coats of polish leaves a beautiful finish.

These beautiful Bobbi Brown branded polishes retail at £11 which I think is a reasonable price point and can be purchased at Bobbi Brown stores and counters in Selfridges, John Lewis and Debenhams

Perfectly fitting for Christmas and for the Big Apple, I can see myself wearing Siren Red over the next fortnight or so. Which is your favourite of the two new Bobbi Brown shades?

Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Essentials

I'm a huge fan of Jurlique and the Rose Moisture Plus range is an all time favourite for me. Perfect for dry skin and just in time for Christmas is this perfect trio of beautiful products and I think it would make such a lovely Christmas gift for a skincare enthusiast.

Made up of Jurliques Rose Moisture Plus Moisturising Cleanser 100ml, Rosewater Balancing Mist 50ml and Moisturising Cream 40ml, with a combined value of £63 and a price point of £45, if you're a fan of Jurlique or know someone that is, I really can't recommend this set enough.

I've tried all three products and particularly love the Moisturising Cream and Rosewater Balancing Mist, which is absolutely perfect for me inflight. The scent of all three products is an absolute dream and they are all incredibly hydrating, which is perfect for my skin at this time of the year.

Perfectly packaged in the prettiest of feminine gift boxes, it may be a little bit hard to get ahold of ready for Christmas, but if you can get your hands on one, for yourself or as a gift, then it really is a lovely buy. I know I'll be keeping my eye out for one in the sales, just to keep as a backup ;)

Available on Feel Unique and Beauty Bay, this three piece hydrating Rose set costs £45.

Have you tried the Rose Moisture Plus range? What's your favourite Jurlique product?

Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Eye Palette

Oh, Bobbi. You've done it again. Following my love for the Twilight Eye & Lip Palette* and of course, my beloved Rich Chocolate Palette*, this Old Hollywood Eye Palette* has me swooning all over again and I just can't stop admiring its beauty.

Twelve shades formed into one incredibly slim mirrored palette, this Old Hollywood palette has been put together with one thing in mind- complimenting any look you want to wear, whether it be a Nude or Red lip or a subtle or super smokey eye.
Ivory- a Creamy White, Golden Pink- a Pink Beige sparkle, Gold- a Champagne sparkle, Opal- a light Grey sparkle, Fog- a dark Heather Grey, Beige- a Tan Beige, Chocolate Bronze- a Brown sparkle, Candlelight Gold- a Creamy Beige Shimmer and Eclipse- a dark Grey make up the palette and honestly, they're all such amazing incredibly pigmented tones.

With the second and third rows making for the perfect smokey eye, I personally enjoy using the top row as two base shades and a highlight, coming in with a blend of other shades in the outer corner and into the crease and then run slightly underneath my lower lash line for a more intense look. My favourite shades of the palette are most definitely Beige and Chocolate Bronze and I've found myself reaching for them a lot when creating a shimmering Bronze smokey eye, particularly for evening looks.

Available now as apart of the Old Hollywood Collection, this Old Hollywood Eye Palette comes with a fabulous mini eyeshadow duo brush and costing £59 is available to buy online and at Bobbi Brown stores and counters in Selfridges, Debenhams and House of Fraser.

What do you think of this limited edition palette? Which shade is your favourite?

Umberto Giannini Glaminks Nail Paint Set

I'm a huge fan of Boots annual 3 for 2 Christmas offers when it comes to this time of year and often find myself wanting a huge array of things and although admittedly, I often end up buying them half price on boxing day, this year I've picked up a few bits for stocking fillers and completely unaware that Umberto Giannini had stepped outside of the world of haircare, this Umberto Giannini Glaminks Nail Paint set* was one of the stand out gift sets for me in the cosmetic aisle.

Complete with six perfectly festive shades, this Glaminks Nail Paint set consists of Soot- the Blackest Black, Oil- a deep Plum Aubergine shade, Oyster- a glittering Gold, Mist- a concrete Grey shade with a Green twist, Gilt- a gorgeous Gold and Cloud- a light Grey which I absolutely love.

When it comes to gift sets, there's often one or two shades that I don't find myself reaching for, but each and every one of these is really lovely and I'm sure the friends of mine that find one of these sets in their stockings will love them as much as I do.

Two coats of each shade gives amazing coverage on the nail and drying in reasonably good time too, for £12 for the six shades and a nail file, you really can't go wrong.

Available online and in Boots stores now, this is the perfect gift set for girls and ladies of all ages.

What's your favourite shade? Have you picked up anything in Boots 3 for 2 this year?

Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Travel Brush Set

I've been meaning to add a few more Bobbi Brown brushes into my collection for some time now, due to the fact that they are absolutely outstanding quality and just ooze luxury and this new Travel Brush Set* from the Old Hollywood Collection is the perfect opportunity to add a few more brushes into your brush collection at an incredibly reasonable price point.

Seven brushes homed in a Red carpet ready Gold case make up the set and everything from the opening of the clasp is just fabulous.

A concealer/blending duo brush, an eyeshadow brush, a foundation brush, a sheer powder brush, a smokey eye liner brush, a touch up brush and an ultra fine eye liner brush make up the seven-piece set and with each brush just being a travel sized version of the real full sized thing, it makes for an extremely lovely set. Bobbi Brown brushes really are unlike any other brushes I have tried and they last for what seems forever. I've never known anyone to be disappointed by the results nor the quality of Bobbi brushes and so this 7 piece set is just a dream.

Available to buy at Bobbi Brown counters, in Selfridges and online, this limited edition Old Hollywood   Travel Brush Set costs £89 which is pretty outstanding, when the full sized brushes would collectively cost around £180.

Laura Mercier Colour To Go Palette- Smokey Violets

I've had my beady little eye on Laura Merciers latest palettes since they first hit the shelves ready for Christmas and although Violets aren't normally my go-to shades, this Colour To Go Palette in Smokey Violets* has really impressed me and I've been wearing it a fair amount over the past few weeks.

Perfectly pocket sized, this mirrored palette is home to three eyeshadows including the lovely shades Plum Smoke and Violet Steel, a Tight Line Cake Liner, a lovely bronzer in the shade Golden Bronze, a stunning lipgloss and the prettiest of Pink blushes and although it is pretty tiny, it's the perfect make up bag product and would make a particularly special gift come Christmas day.

I've been using all of the products in the palette together, which is pretty unusual for me, but I find all of the colours are extremely complimentary of each other and find that the lipgloss in the shade After Hours and the Second Skin Cheek Colour in the shade Barely Pink, finish the look just perfectly.

Available to buy in Space NK, Liberty and Selfridges costing £31.00, I think this is such a lovely compact full of seven really lovely products.

What do you think of this Colour To Go Palette? Would you go for the Smokey Violets or the Natural Nudes?
