Hi Ladies,
Just a little question..
I'm in desperate need of a FAB facial moisturiser!
Flying the skies can be horrible for your skin so I need one thats;
- Super hydrating
- Works well with my make up
- Light
-Long lasting
If you have any suggestions please do comment and let me know.
Love you all lots
xx

E45 is all of those things :D I've been going through tubes of it ever since i discovered it last year! x
ReplyDeleteI've been using Garnier Skin Renewing Serum for a while now, I find it really moisturising, lighter than anything else I've ever tried and a dream to apply make up over :-)
ReplyDeleterose hip oil by neals yard is amazing! its very oily and greasy so i use it at night, and sometimes even moisturise on top but mainly just the rose hip oil. it's about 16 pounds and you barely need any. or the orange flower oil is good too, and really soaks in so well. i would say in my experience e45 is okay, but not particularly moisturising ...
ReplyDeleteoh and the neals yard orange oil , if you use the right quantity which is very little, is amazing under makeup!
ReplyDeleteOilatum Natural Repair Face Cream which you can get from Boots, i know both sam and nic from pixiwoo always recommend it too! x
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I'm using Neutrogena Multi Defence. It's lightweight and makes skin really soft, it's also not expensive.

I suffer from really dry skin, and I've been using The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum and then applying Benefit's Dear John Moisturiser. They work really well! The Vitamin E Moisture Serum is an essential, I have never said this before, but YOU HAVE TO GET IT ;) I think it's £10, and it's a small bottle. But you just put on one pump all over your face.. wait for it to dry.. and then apply the moisturiser you usually use.
ReplyDeleteHope that helps!

I Love Benefits Do It Daily Moisturiser! x
ReplyDeleteI've been using rosehip oil and then this over the top through winter. This size has lasted me *all* winter http://www.mypure.co.uk/akin-skin-care-b98/pure-radiance-organic-rosehip-oil-p434
ReplyDeleteFor summer I cut out the rosehip oil. http://www.mypure.co.uk/organic-bloom-b135/skin-blossom-nourishing-face-moisturiser-p1094 To me, air conditioning/central heating etc means the oil is a must-have barrier.

ReplyDeletethe pixiwoo girls said oilatum is supposed to be magnificent at moisturising especially dried skin. on the complete other end of the spectrum i have tried a delightful guinot one. so u could peruse there products? x x
ReplyDeletegood blog :)
ReplyDeleteif u want follow me and write comment ;*
call me a snob laura but i will only use dermalogica skin smoothing cream. have used it for years now <3 x
ReplyDeleteOilatum!! Without a shadow of a doubt! xx
ReplyDeleteI use Botanics Moisturising Lotion, it's under £5, the tube lasts for ages, my skin feels lovely all day and it sinks in so fast I can apply my makeup straight away. What more do you need? xx
ReplyDeleteEgyptian Magic cream is LOVELY! Really moisturizing and soothing. Its more of a balm than a cream and it's not for wearing under makeup as it's quite heavy duty. I use Dermalogica's skin smoothing cream under makeup but thats more of a medium weight cream and I swap to Dermalogica's Intensive moisture balance when I need a heavier moisturiser. xxx
