Last night I popped down to the rather fabulous Estée Lauder offices in London to have a sneak peek at Cliniques new line of products that are ready and waiting to join counters within the next month.
Perfect for me, the event was full of sweet treats and delicious drinks and what a perfect way to play with some new products, sipping on a Chocolate Milkshake and eating sugary goodies.
Cliniques Chubby Sticks have taken a huge place within the cosmetics world this past year and of course, with the success they have had, another branch from these wonders was super necessary, though this time, for the eyes.
Twelve shades of silky Chubby Stick Shadow Tints for Eyes are being introduced and after playing with them and seeing how these creamy crayon-like sticks work, I am pleased to inform you that they are incredibly lovely to use, offer superb buildable pigmentation that blends like a dream and apply to the eyelid fantastically quick, easy and hassle free.
I really love the neutral shades and the more Golden tones and think they will be particulary perfect for me, as I'm not great at eye make up but these, blended out with a finger or even applied straight as a block of colour, are pretty much fool proof.
I've been told that a primer isn't necessary for application although if used, creates more of a sheer effect on the lid which is nice if that's more of the look you like.
These new Clinique Chubby Stick Tint for Eyes will be available from 15th February at all Clinque counters and online.
What do you think of these products? Would you prefer these to a typical eyeshadow?
How gorgeous is the set up they used with the sweets, and the milkshakes? <3 These look really nice.. I like the look of the Khaki green-like colour on your hand! xxx
