Lord & Berry 20100 Lipstick Pencil in Fire

Being new to Lord & Berry, I wasn't too sure what to expect in terms of quality and colour payoff of this 20100 Lipstick Pencil in Fire*, but I was assured I would absolutely love them, and right they were.

Incredibly pigmented with a super creamy and easy to apply formula, my first venture into Lord & Berry has been an absolute success. I wasn't sure if the shade was too bright and first, but after receiving so many compliments on how it looked and how White it made my teeth look on my first wear, I was sold on this effortless chunky pencil lipstick and now can't get enough.

The shade name Fire, is very apt for this pencil, in that it's extremely bright and is the most perfect Fire Red shade which manages to brighten up and finish my make up looks perfectly.
Nicely long lasting, this leaves my lips feeling creamy and soft for a fair while although as with most Red shades, it does require a little attention in the form of mirror checks.

Available in 16 different shades, this Lord & Berry Lipstick Pencil in Fire costs £8 and is available to buy on asos and Look Fantastic.

Have you tried anything what Lord & Berry? I'd love to hear your recommendations.

Nars Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Palette

It's not often that I'm so excited by a products launch that I refer to the press release and blog about it without even laying hands on it, but completely sure that this Nars and Guy Bourdin Holiday Gifting 'One Night Stand' palette is going to be a sell-out, I thought I would share it with you, just to give you the chance to preorder it if you wasn't even aware that such a beauty existed.

One Night Stand is launching in the Nars Hoilday Gifting Collection and exclusive to Space NK, it consists of Devotee Highlighting Blush (New shade, Alabaster Glow), Mistinguette Blush (New shade, Bright Pink), Goulue Blush (New shade, Fleshy Pink), Laguna Bronzer (Brown Powder with Golden Shimmer)- my all time favourite, Orgasm Blush (Peachy Pink with Golden Shimmer) and Deep Throat Blush (Sheer Peach).

Each shade sized at around 2/3 of the normal Nars Blush size, at £45 this palette is well worth picking up whilst you can. I for sure will be making space in my collection for this and preordering it as soon as possible, whilst keeping my beady eye out for the colour collection, which has the most dreamy looking blushes- Day Dream.

Available exclusive to Space NK and limited edition, this One Night Stand palette along with the rest of the Holiday Gifting Collection will be available to buy on the 1st November, although at no extra price you are able to preorder it, to ensure you don't miss out.

Estée Lauder Companies & Elizabeth Hurley Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Earlier on this week, I attended a very lovely and extremely touching event. Estée Lauder Companies and Elizabeth Hurley once again joined forces in their ever growing Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and I was very touched to have been invited along to a talk given by the lovely Liz Hurley herself who is Estée Lauders Spokesmodel and Global Ambassador, the Estée Lauder team and leading Breast Cancer Research Professors.

Turning more than 200 famous landmarks around the world, including the BT Tower Pink to raise awareness, on the 25th September, Estée Lauder launched their new campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month which holds the incredibly powerful slogan; "Let's defeat breast cancer. We're Stronger Together."

The A star charity works to raise awareness and money for ongoing research and inspire people to take action against the growing disease, whether it be via spreading the word, supporting those suffering with Breast Cancer, checking yourself regularly or even booking in a mammogram.

Launched in 1992 by Evelyn Lauder, daughter in law of Estée Lauder and co-creator of the Pink Ribbon, the global movement that is Breast Cancer Awareness Month has helped to saved millions of lives and continuing this October, here is how you could do your bit with Estée Lauder BCA;

Using social media, the 2013 BCA Campaign invites people from all over the world to join together and create their own circles of strength. Friends, families, co-workers and loved ones are urged to create circles and agree to make healthy lifestyle changes, make regular doctors appoints, self check, organise a mammogram or join together to raise funds for BCRF and in turn, help to advance research and work towards eradicating breast cancer all together. With the hashtag #BCAStrength, content will be shared throughout social media and onto bcacampaign.com to enable people to feel stronger together.

As well as working together to defeat breast cancer, fundraising products will also be available to buy and here some of my favourites;

Breast Cancer Awareness is no doubt an incredible charity to be apart of and if you want to create a circle to help defeat breast cancer, you can do so on bcacampaign.com and facebook.com/bcacampaign.

Let's work together and this October wear our Pink Ribbons to defeat breast cancer. We're stronger together.

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Launch at the Fashion Rules Exhibition, Kensington Palace

Over the past few days, I've been reading of the New York star studded Estée Lauder Modern Muse launch at the Guggenheim Museum all over the internet, but this evening, I attended the fabulous London launch, at a venue I thought I would only ever dream to visit- Kensington Palace.

As the sponsors of the Fashion Rules Exhibition at the Queens Entrance of Kensington Palace, Estée Lauder held the launch of their biggest fragrance concept, Modern Muse, within the exhibition and thinking back on it now, it was all a little dreamy.

Within the exhibition that was home to frocks of HM The Queen, Princess Margaret and Diana Princess of Wales, we were introduced to the fragrance which I have a huge feeling is going to be the beginning of something fabulous.

Inspired by todays woman, Modern Muse is a beautiful fragrance that carries a floral, woody scent. With something extremely luxurious and rich about it, it carries a delightful refreshing note that together, are surprisingly super complimentary. Unlike most fragrances, Estée Lauder Modern Muse has been created with two contrasting accords, rather than the typical three bases. Sparkling Jasmine Accord infused with Exotic Mandarin, Honeysuckle Nectar and Jasmine Sambac China Absolute make this fragrance incredibly feminine, floral and fresh but mixed alongside Sleek Woods Accord which carries a blend of two Patchouli scents with Madagascar Vanilla, Rich Amber Wood and Soft Musk, the fragrance is made a little richer, though perfect to suit so many different tastes in fragrance that todays women have.

Far from my typical sweet daily scent, I am completely sold on Modern Muse and particularly love the sparkling floral notes that it carries. The packaging and bottle is simply stunning and inspired by the iconic bow of Estée Lauders first fragrance Youth Dew, Modern Muse has been designed with Blush Pink and Navy Blue through both the outer packaging and the bottle, with a Navy patent bow, as a more modern and sophisticated twist, 61 years on.

Modern Muse is offically launched tomorrow and I personally feel really excited about it. Available to buy in an Eau de Parfum Spray in 30ml- £44.00, 50ml- £60.00 and 100ml- £86.00, Modern Muse can be purchased online and at Estée Lauder counters in Boots, Selfridges, Debenhams, House of Fraser and John Lewis.

Does Modern Muse sound like the ideal fragrance for you? Will you be purchasing Estée Lauders exciting new fragrance?

Clarins Graphic Expressions Collection

Autumn make up collections are most definitely up there with my favourites, and Clarins have once again impressed me with their new AW13 collection, Graphic Expressions.

Focusing mainly around intensifying the eyes, Clarins have introduced eight Kohls, a 3-dot liner which makes for the perfect application, three Joli Rouge lipsticks in a trio of beautifully deep shades and a new take on their ever so popular Eye Quartet Mineral Palette* and limited edition Face & Blush Powder*, which is probably my personal piece within the collection.

Made up of universal Beige tones as well as Gold and Coral Pink hues, the lightweight powder blends together to create a radiant, subtle illuminated finish on the skin. I personally like to focus my brush on the Beiges for all over my face and the Pinks and lighter tones for my cheeks. Every season Clarins Face & Blush Powders go down extremely well and priced at £30 if you think it will be a welcomed addition to your collection this Autumn, I'd pick it up at your local Clarins counter whilst it's still available as I'm sure it will be a sell out.

Following on from my favourite of the bunch is the ever so pigmented Eye Quartet Mineral Palette. I've recently become very fond of a more made up eye and really love the forest inspired shades of Khaki, Satin Taupe, Intense Bronze and Pale Gold. With the ability to be used wet and dry, I find these shades really versatile, giving me the option to wear them day through to night. Costing £31, I think it's a fair price for a collection palette, working out at around the £7-£8 per shade and if you're into eye shadows then it's definitely worth looking at.

Lipsticks are always a firm favourite of mine, and although I'm not sure that I'm going to love wearing Plum and deeper shades as much as I did last year, the three new additions really are lovely and are made up of a really beautiful buildable formula. Infused with Mango Butter for hydration and nourishment, Joli Rouge lipsticks feel super light and comfortable on your lips and I can't get enough.

As I mentioned before, Graphic Expressions is all about the eyes, and I'm sure the Crayon Kohl range is going to go down a treat. Intense Black, Intense Brown, Intense Blue, Platinum, Intense Violet, Bronze, Smoky Plum and Taupe are the eight shades in question and having recently been enjoying a more intense eye, these pigmented shades have been a pleasure to use. I particular like that as opposed to other similar Kohls, Clarins have popped a natural hair brush on the end, rather than a smudging sponge, which blends the Kohl perfectly well. At £17 each, these Crayon Kohl eye pencils aren't the cheapest you'll find on the market but the shades are absolutely beautiful and their super long lasting qualities make it worth the few extra pennies in my opinion.

Being pretty new to the world that is eyeliners and emphasising my lash line, I know how important it is to have easy to use tools and products, and so I'm pleased that the 3-Dot liner that was around in 2012, is back again, for good. With the triple pointed sponge applicator that helps to create the perfect precise and easily applied line and with the added bonus of its growth-stimulating ingredients to condition your lashes, I think it's a pretty cool product and definitely worth a try especially if like me you're just getting into eyes.

Clarins Graphic Expressions is available to buy now on Clarins online store and at counters in Debenhams, Boots, Selfridges and John Lewis.

What do you think of this Autumn collection? What product stands out to you the most?
