For me, the most rewarding part of my skin care regime is using a face mask and recently I have been loving using Clinques Turnaround Instant Facial Masque* for smooth and glowing results.
Suitable for all skin types, the Instant Facial mask works to give microdermabrasian like results of radiance and smoothness and I love it. Very similar to an exfoliator, packed with tiny beads, this works to buff skin and promote skin cell turnover. Left to sit for around the five minute mark, this works it's radiance boosting magic and on removal, which also feels similar to that of washing off a standard exfoliator or scrub, your skin is left feeling incredibly smooth and looking a lot fresher with a nicer overall tone.
At first wasn't sure if I'm imagining it, but the formula seems to have quite a shimmering, somewhat strange glittery effect. I'm not sure if this plays on the radiance theme slightly and at first I was a little suspicious that it was helping to fake the look of radiance a bit, but fortunately I was proven wrong and my skin continued to glow after the subtle shimmer had disappeared.
The product is said to be okay to use two to three times a week, but in all honesty I think three times may be over doing it a little bit. I would say that this product is definitely more of a scrub than a typical face mask and for me personally, I would find it a little too harsh to use three times in seven days. Once at the beginning and once at the end of the week has been working well for me for an extra exfoliating treat but for my skin I personally wouldn't want to risk overdoing it.
Though the masque isn't completely what I had expected it to be, it works magically at buffing away my dead skin and smoothing and adding radiance to my face and so if you're on the market for an exfoliating, microdermabrasian like product, then this could be your answer.
Costing £34 for 75ml, this Clinque Turnaround Instant Facial Masque is available to buy on Cliniques online store as well as in John Lewis, House of Fraser and Boots.
Do you like the sound of this Instant Facial Masque?
This sounds interesting. I have been loving my Ren glycol lactic but not sure what I want to try when I eventually use that up.
