Rediscover Hilton Weekend & £100 Voucher Giveaway

This time last week, I was very fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to spend the weekend in a Hilton*, to enjoy the amenities and close by attractions and pretty much have a chilled weekend away with my boyfriend.

I absolutely jumped at the opportunity, as living in London, I tend to spend my days rushing about on Tubes and catching the train home and kind of envy friends of mine that do come to stay in London for the weekend, as not having your at-home distractions and just getting away, be it just a few miles up the road really can make such a difference and although you probably still do just as much as you normally would, it is just nice to have a little break sometimes.

I was offered the chance to stay in a deluxe room, which was absolutely lovely and very fancy, and although I had lots planned, mainly shopping and a little bit of blogging, I decided that I would make the most of it and have a full on pamper weekend. 

For me, three days of pampering and relaxing means one thing- a whole load of products, so I packed up all of my current go to products in one (or two) bags and made the hotel room into pretty much a dressing room, much to my boyfriends dismay! With lots of Christmas films running throughout the evenings and room service offering absolute delights, it was the perfect opportunity to blow dry my hair, pop the rollers in and relax with a face mask on, trying my upmost best to sip on the complimentary Wine without cracking!

We stayed in the Dartford Hilton in Kent, which fortunately for me, was just a few minutes drive to Bluewater. I absolutely love Bluewater anyway, but seeing as it was a special occasion, I decided to go all out and treat myself to a few bits and pieces, oh and of course have a full on Byron feast. Completely over ordering as per usual wasn't too great, as I'm never one to waste any food and with the huge buffet breakfast that I had well and truly made the most of, I ended up in a total food coma for the rest of the evening.

On my last day, having pampered myself so much to begin with, I felt it was completely necessary to enjoy the facilities further and although I should have probably made the most of the gym, I decided that floating around in the pool was so much more me. 

Having a little local hotel break isn't something I ever really considered with living in London anyway, but it came in super handy for catching up with work without any distractions and of course the shopping! It really is the perfect way to spend a quiet weekend and I'm already considering a fancy little Hilton trip for when I eventually make an attempt at my Christmas shopping.
