Ole Henriken is a brand that never fails to impress me and having just finished this tube of Ole Henriksens Truth is in the eyes eye peel*, I thought it was about time that I let you know my thoughts on the fabulous under eye product.
With most peel and exfoliation products, you are strictly directed not to apply it around your eye area as it's fragile and extremely sensitive, but formulated with natural acids, protein, micro algae and saccharide isomerate, Truth is in the eyes is made specifically for the under eye area and works to take away the appearance of dark circles, smooth skin and illuminate all whilst optimising the elasticity that is in your under eye area.
Having a pretty non-stop Summer, my under eye area had started to look a little fatigued, slightly drier and a little more wrinkled than beforehand, but fortunately over a couple of months use, this eye peel has really restored some the goodness back into the area and has become a little bit of a must have product for me.
Applied underneath the eye, in both the morning and the evening, before an eye cream, Truth is in the eyes absorbs pretty quickly and has massively helped to smooth out my under eye area, making it a lot brighter and fresh looking and creating a perfectly smooth base for underneath my make up.
I must say, that recently, nearing the end of my tube, I have found myself not applying it as often as I had been in hope of keeping it going a little longer and I actually noticed quite a difference in the smoothness of my under eye area, making this a definite repurchase for me.
I'm not too sure whether it's helped to decrease any of my dark circles as such, I've come to terms with the fact that nothing will budge them, but the overall appearance of my under eye area after using this product is substantially nicer.
Not the most purse-friendly, though certainly worth treating yourself, Ole Henriksens Truth is in the eyes costs £39 for 15ml and is available to buy in Selfridges, John Lewis, Look Fantastic and Beauty Bay.
What do you think of an exfoliating peel for your eye area? Does this product appeal to you?
I have been eye (pun intended :)) this product for a while but wasn't sure how it would work out.
