When it comes to nails, I don't really do colour. Call me a bore, but I tend to like to keep my nails as Nude as possible, however, these Models Own Colour Chrome polishes* are quite something, and so I thought I'd share them with you.
There's something really satisfying about this collection and for a collection that is made up of all things that on paper, wouldn't be for me, something about these really stood out.
I'm not sure whether it's because of the super shiny bottles which photograph quite fabulously, or the fact that these are so different from anything else in my collection but I honestly think they're really pretty.
I doubt I'll get too much wear out of them, because let's be honest, they're far from my day to day Nude/Black style, but I do think that particularly the Gold and Silver could come in super handy when it comes to nail art, which although I tend to only do around the festive period, it's sometimes nice just to practice- eh?
Pretty colours aside, these apply like a dream and there's something SO satisfying with every single stroke of the brush. It must be how the full coverage formula meets the metallic finish, but I loved applying these. Chrome Silver was the only shade that I feel needs more than one coat, but other than that, one actually gave a good finish.
Available in Chrome Silver, Chrome Gold, Chrome Blue, Chrome Pink and Chrome Green, you can get your hands on these at UK Models Own Bottle Shops as of January 31st 2015 and in Superdrug on February 11th, costing £4.99 each.
