MAC Nicki Minaj Pink 4 Friday Lipstick

I got this picture from maccosmetics.co.uk
I can't explain to you how utterly excited I am about this product! Its the limited edition Nicki Minaj and MAC collaboration lipstick- The link being her new album "Pink Friday".
It was launched on Friday 26th November and will be available online only on Fridays until stock lasts!
I was one of the lucky ones to get hold of one of the 26th as they was sold out within hours and I have waited with huge excitement until this morning when finally appeared on my doorstep.
Now onto the fabulous stuff..

Before its release I was really hoping that this lipstick would have something special with the packaging, but unfortunately it doesn't. Its just the standard MAC Lipstick packaging. I would have thought they would have created something special for it, something similar to Gaga maybe? This is a little bit disapointing, but the colour makes up for it 100%..
This colour has been compared with quite a few of MAC's Pink lipsticks, It is very similar to Gaga but unfortunately mines all gone and I can't get hold of a new one so I couldn't compare it with that however, I will compare it with St Germaine swatches- one of my favourites and another lipstick it has been very closely compared with.
They are both absolute barbie/bubblegum pinks, and are VERY similar. Pink Friday is maybe a few shades darker? But seems to be almost a dupe colour on the lips.
Pink Friday is a Satin finish which I am extremely happy about as its my favourite.
Left Lipstick and Top Swatch- St Germaine, Amplified
Right Lipstick and Bottom Swatch- Pink Friday, Satin
These swatches show the results with and without a flash. As you can see, they are both very much in the same family but I adore both colours- whats your favourite?
There was alot of worries when this lipstick was compared so closely to other colours that we would all be disapointed on arrival of this beauty, but I most definately am not. I can whole heartedly say that I am so pleased with this lipstick, its not one to miss out on and would recommend that you place an order this coming Friday!
Its £12.50 and like most MAC lipsticks- worth every single penny.
A bonus to this little delivery was a sample Pro Eye Make Up Remover..
I'll have a little try and let you all know how it is.

What I'm wearing

Hey all!
This wasn't a planned post at all, but I had these photos floating around on my camera from this morning and thought I'd share them with you.
I washed my hair this morning with Boots Ingredients Lemon and Camomile Shampoo & Conditioner. I picked these up when I was on a bit of a rummage, they was only £1 and smelt really nice so I thought I'd try them.. The results have actually shocked me. My hair feels really, really soft!
The only product I used was a new product I got yesturday from Avon. Its the Advanced Techniques Volume & Texture lotion. I've only used it the once, but I'm happy with it, I find some Volumising products to be quite drying but this isn't. My hair is a little bit all over the place but thats just my poor blow drying skills!
On my face I used:
MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC37
MAC Matte Bronzer
Fake Bake Legal Sunburn Blush in Peachy
On my eyes I used-
MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash- Not the biggest fan, but I may aswell use it..
and on my lips I used:
MAC Viva Glam Gaga!
I used my new contour and foundation brushes that I purchased from Avon. I'm pleasantly suprised! There really nice brushes, especially the foundation brush. Its really soft and applies the foundation really well. If you haven't already- you should definately try them!
Wearing a scarf in my hair is definately not me. I forgot I even had this scarf. Its been in my wardrobe for literally about 4 years. I got it in Topshop.
I'd probably never wear this, but for photo purposes I thought I'd try it!

Hope your all okay xx

MAC Viva Glam Gaga

Introducing the long-awaited Viva Glam Gaga!

I've wanted this Lipstick since I first read about it, mostly due to the fact that it had Lady Gaga's name on it, but secondly because the colour looked as if it would be absolutely delightful!
I'm such a lucky girl to have managed to get one of these, as there not due for release here in the UK until the 15th March now and I'm not sure I could have waited another 2 weeks.
A good friend of mine's kind, lovely sister picked me up this little wonder whilst she was in New York and I got my hands on it last night- Thank you so much! I cannot express how happy this made me. I was completely full of smiles and couldn't wait to put it on.
Above is a photo of the lovely tube with and without a flash. Its absolutely gorgeous!
It has Lady Gaga's signature on the tube which excites me alot!
Its a high lustre lipstick and its such a pretty pink.
I'm very much a nude & pink lipstick girl and this is just dreamy.
Its described as "light blue pink" and you can definately see that it has the slightest blue undertone once its on. This only makes it a more beautiful product.
It works really well on the lips- it applies beautifully. As I do with most lipsticks, I like to wear this more built up and this builds up really well.
I've been wearing it for about 4 hours now and it feels very moisturising in comparison to some other pink lipsticks that I have worn that end up feeling quite drying.
Below is a swatch of the product with and without a flash, and quite a few photos of the product on my lips in different lighting.

In this Viva Glam Collection Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga both put there names on the products.
Every single penny raised through the purchase of Viva Glam products goes to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to support the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Retailing at £12.50 this is a must have. It is important that we all do our bit to help and by purchasing this beautiful lipstick we can.

Although theres rumours that this product will be around for about a year- this is a Limited Edition lipstick. I will definately be stocking up.
