Paris is such an incredibly beautiful city and although it homes all of the stereotypical french touches such as macaroons, moustaches and monuments, like I mentioned in Paris- Part One it's nothing like I expected it to be. It's so much more. Unlike other cities I have been to, though full of tourists, traffic, businessmen and street buskers, Paris seems relatively quiet and as you walk through the cobbled streets from one monument to another you can't help but just float and take in all of the picturesque scenes. There were a few moments during my few days there, where I just stopped to admire the architecture and culture. One moment that describes this perfectly, is when I stopped close to Concorde Square where as I stood surrounded by beautiful buildings and fountains, in full sight was Champs-Elyees, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre and at a distance even The Eiffel Tower.
Whilst in a quaint family run cafe where we stopped off for a bite to eat at the beginning of our day, I mapped out a route which took us from Republique where we were staying in a lovely Boutique Hotel to La Fayette, Arc de Triomphe via Sephora, along Champs-Elyees to The Louve stopping by yet another Sephora, across Lovers Lock Bridge where we stopped off for a very lovely romantic moment and walk along the Seine River, leading over to the the grand Notre-Dame.
At this point we were both taken back by the hustle and bustle of St Germaine and after a little walk around we stopped off of dinner in a small French restaurant.

After a lovely dinner, despite the unfortunate rain we decided to hop onto the subway where a busker in a Beret played the Accordion, making the moment all very français whilst we made our way over The Eiffel Tower, which of course, was absolutely beautiful and once again incredibly overwhelming.
We visited Paris over four days; one day in Disneyland, one day sightseeing and wandering for a day either side. It was really wonderful and although my boyfriend is now slightly traumatised at how many Pharmacies he had to visit and how many skincare boxes he had to help me translate, it was a beautiful getaway that we shall never forget and a city that I'm secretly already planning another visit to.
Great photos. I want to visit Paris again. I loved it. Xx
