Toni & Guy Infusion Straightener

Up until the last month or so, straightening my hair seemed to have been a thing of the past and all things straightening seemed to have been retired to the back of my hair box, but when I was contacted by Toni & Guy and asked a series of questions in relation to my hair style, that were matched to the likes of Kate Middleton, who was I to argue and was up for straightening my hair more than ever.

I was very kindly given the new Toni & Guy Infusion Straightener* in order to achieve my straightest locks in a very long time and having not strayed away from one brand of straighteners for the past ten years or so, I have been thoroughly impressed!

A tiny bit bulkier than I'm used to, I was a little concerned that the Infusion Straightener would be difficult to work with, but it is in fact really comfortable to use and holding a very exciting feature, was really easy too. With an attachable section that holds a fair amount of heat protection mist, on closure of the straightener to the hair, the treatment is infused into the hair via the centre of the plates, in order to help protect your hair, leaving it straight, silky smooth and heat protected. I must admit, at first I did think this was a little gimmicky and a little over the top, as quite frankly how long does it take to spray a few spritzes by hand, but it really does make a difference and my hair looked surprisingly shiny after it had been straightened by temperatures up to 230C.

I've found myself really impressed with Toni & Guys Infusion straighter and costing pretty much half of what my previous straighteners have cost, if you're on the market for a decent straightener that carries variable temperature settings to suit your hair type and something a little gimmicky, I can't recommend this enough. Costing £79.99 (although it currently seems to be half price), you can pick one of these up in Boots

What do you think of the Toni & Guy Infusion Straightener? Does the infusing conditioning treatment feature appeal to you?

  2. I have this and I love it too, I barely use my GHDs anymore! It creates lovely big, Victoria's Secret model-esque waves too if you use it to curl :)
