When I first heard of this Benefit Porefessional Shine Vanishing Pro Powder* hitting the market, I must admit I wasn't quite sure where I thought I would stand with it. I liked the concept of the product and am all for mattifying areas of unwanted shine, but I thought adding a product into the extremely successful Porefessional Range could go either way.
Surprisingly, I've moved away from the all-matte face that I used to like to achieve and so instead, have just been using this powder to set products underneath my eyes and maybe around my chin area if it's experiencing any extra shine than normal and in all honesty, I've been absolutely loving it in my daily make up routine.
The product holds a little brush in the base end that twists off which I guess is handy as it fits into the lid for a dusting of powder, but in an ideal world, I must admit I prefer to use a fluffy brush of my own. The powder itself is extremely fine and feels soft and light on the skin and works to minimise the look on my under eye area and find it adds an almost airbrushed look, which in my opinion is never a bad thing.
With operation shine control in full force, this Porefessional Vanishing Pro Powder costs £23.50 and is available to buy at Benefit stores and counters in Debenhams, House of Fraser and Boots.
Have you tried this Shine Vanishing Pro Powder? Do you need a powder to airbrush out your pores and shine?

Been waiting for someone to review this product!
ReplyDeleteI'm always sceptical when Benefit have new launches and I either love or hate the new products!
Think I will have to give this a go now.
Thanks for the review :)

ReplyDeleteThis sounds amazing! Love it and love your blog so much!:) xxx
I own this powder and must say it's great for getting rid of shine and getting that matte finish. I also love setting my concealer with it, but it does tend to get a bit cakey throughout the day
ReplyDeletei really want to try this, but the packaging just looks really confusing for a loose powder! xx

It looks cute,I also just like to matte a few areas as I like a dewy face but looks like a fab setting powder for concealer ect.

I like the idea of it but I don't think I need to add another pore minimising product into my already heavy rotation!

I don't know if I'd try this product. A pressed powder just seems more convenient?
