Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Justify- For Contouring

If you've been a reader of Belles Boutique for a while, then I'm sure you're aware of my love of contouring products and ever searching for the perfect product to sculpt in some cheekbones, I've been trying an alternative to Illasmaquas Sculpting Powder Duo and a dupe for their contouring cream Hollow, in the form of a Powder Eyeshadow in the shade Justify*.

A cool toned Brown, Justify is an extremely pigmented eyeshadow that fortunately for me, teams up as a great contour product. Formulated first and foremost as an eyeshadow, Justify blends into the skin really well and although only a little bit of product is necessary due to it's intense pigmentation, a little goes a long way and a sculpted look is very easily achieved.

I like to use this in the hollows of my cheeks and down my nose and often run it through the crease of my lid, where it softens the contoured look slightly and finishes the look perfectly.

I'm surprisingly yet to use it as a stand alone eyeshadow, but it's definitely falls within my ideal neutral colour palette and so I'm sure it will become a winner for me.

Available to buy on Illasmasquas online as well as in stores and counters in Selfridges, Justify costs £15.50 for 2g of product.

Have you tried an eyeshadow as a contour product? Will you be swapping creamy Hollow for this powder dupe?

  2. I would never have thought of multitasking an eyeshadow like that! And it makes total sense to do just that, especially with its shade. (Love the lip color as well!)

  6. I often use eyeshadows for cheeky products but you have to be so careful as obviously eyeshadows are more pigmented than face products.

  8. Remember, when using products not specifically designed for contouring, it's important to test the product on a small area first to ensure it blends well and looks natural on your skin. Enjoy experimenting with the Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in "Justify" for contouring!
