17 Night Shade on my nails, with 17 Matte finish on top, you can't see the matte finish but it really looks fab- a BOY even commented on it and said it was nice!
I popped into my local MAC Counter to get some foundation and picked up Snob aswell, I've heard so many good things about it and can't believe I haven't purchased it before. The foundation was my usual- Studio Fix Fluid NC35Beware- RANT!
I've said it once but I'm going to have to say it again, I'm SO fed up with the attitude of the girls at my local counter- apart from one of them whos really kind. Its clear for some unknown reason they don't like me, I swear I'm not being paranoid. It's either that, or there just plain horrible. But I would hate to say that because I'm sure there normally lovely. They are just SO rude to me. It's not like I waste there time or anything- to be honest they don't ever help anyway but aghhh! Okay rant over.

Laura I really need a new foundation, and I'm thinking of trying out mac studio fix, is it as good as everyone saids it is? And also how do I go about finding the right colour? xxxx
ReplyDeleteLaura you actually would not believe the level of rudeness I have experienced at a Mac counter before. To cut a long story short I was asking about face & Body and I said I knew they didnt have it here but could they advise me on shades so I could get it online. She glared at me and said " we don't do it so how would I know" I felt shocked but went about my business was about to hand over quite a bit of money and caught her and another MUA laughing and glaring at me, so I stormed out lol Anyway apologies for the long comment, I need that nailvarnish and also love snob xxx
ReplyDeleteI think it's Mac staff in general. Out of all the places near me that sell it, there is only one Mac store with one nice girl in it. It always makes me not want to buy stuff from there because to put it bluntly the majority of Mac staff appear to be up their own bum.

i think i know the mac counter you're referring to. and i think they might actually just be rude u know babe, unless they don't like me either! LOL! i love your outfit, i still wanna buy that top, just havent done it yet... better do it before spending ban kicks in eh! LOTS of love my dear x

ReplyDeleteI've had so many bad mac customer service experiences. From them saying really nasty comments about my skin, to them being rude to my mum, the usual dirty looks some girls give and even them telling a friend that she wouldn't be able to pull off there lipsticks. Awful, awful. They know there stuff, but there attitidues really could be damaging to there brand.
ReplyDeleteKirsty, They have so many foundations! You should defo try one I think there great. Go into a counter and ask for some samples. NC is yellow based and NW is pink. If your nice to them I'm sure they will try some on you ;)
The girls at my MAC counter are the biggest biatches ever! I'm so passionate about make-up and always hope to talk to them about their products, but they are CLUELESS! They allege to be makeup artists too, they make Jordan look natural x

I'm almost at the opposite end of the country and get the same feeling when I go to the Metrocentre one but the ladies at the Newcastle one are lovely. I find I get this feeling of rudeness from the high end shops like Toni and Guy and USC and the likes. I don't know where they get off to be honest. Love snob...I need to buy it for myself. =D x

i love the shoes, i have just purchased these from primark i think they are such a bargain and so so cute, I have had similar problems at MAC counters i prefer to buy online but for the price it's nice to see the product properly first x

I know what you mean. I go to the MAC counter in Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh. The girls there really look down their noses at everyone! They are so rude and not very helpful. I honestly can't stand going there but I need my MAC intake. It seems bitchiness is a requirement to work for MAC!

ReplyDeleteI've only had one bad experience with MAC staff and it's in the Westfield store, I had to go and ask for help and when I did she tried to fob me off with the wrong shade concealer..erm no thanks, mind you there is the sweetest gay guy in there haha! best MAC has to be covent garden, lovely girls in there :) xo
