I finally took the plunge and treated myself to something I have had my eye on forever! I was in the Apple Store, Regent Street and decided to treat myself to a MacBook Pro.
I've always been a gadget geek and can't believe I hadn't got one of these beauts sooner.
I'm completely new to MacBooks and would love all of your tips, tricks and help..
I love photography apps and things like that so please send me over all of your recommendations!
I hope your all fantastic x

I love the Twitter app you can get, makes it so much easier to tweet :) I think knowing all the little shortcut keys is good, like cmd+shift+3 print screens and saves it on your desktop! You'll love the Macbook Pro, I have the 13" and will never buy a regular laptop again!
ReplyDeleteIf you do need any help or whatnot, you can always tweet me! I'm not an expert but may be able to help :) (@ beautycfw) xx
Aww I'm so jealous! I really want one but am struggling to save up xo
ReplyDeleteYay! My life changed when I got a MacBrook Pro (dramatic but true!) My advice, because it took me forever to learn this, to copy & paste it's cmd+v rather than the cntrl button. That's all I know, sorry! xxx
ReplyDeletecmd+t to open a new tab on your internet browser was a biggie for me! And if you use 2 fingers to click the mousepad it's like a right click on a PC. That's about as far as my knowledge goes, only had my MacBook Pro a little while!

I love my Mac! Though, I can't seem to think of any tips since I'm so used to everything! I suggest that you look up Mac blogs though. Most of them have beginning guides that can be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteOh! One thing I like is being able to put the date/time on my desktop. You have to use an app called geektool (haha I sound so nerdy!). A friend taught me how to use it but it's really easy (and I'm exactly a tech person) and theres a lot of instructions online.
Hope this helps. (:
