Hi Shine Gel Nails Home System

Last week I was invited over to the Lash Perfect store in London, where I was taken through a new DIY home gel nail polish system, Hi Shine Nails.

It was a lovely venue for an event and we were offered the opportunity to to have our nails manicured with the new system whilst indulging in a glass of Champagne and a Macaroon or two.
Whilst other bloggers decided to have their nails done for them by the nail technicians, myself and Sabrina decided to do them ourselves, to test out the kit as see if it really was as easy as it was made out to be.

Though we did take a little longer than the professionals, I think we did a pretty good job. Having never done it previously and only encountering a couple of minor issues, we were left with pretty, smooth gel nails which are still going strong. It wasn't a hard process at all, and I think the kit would be perfect for at home use, when you have half an hour spare.

If you like to have a gel polish manicure on a regular basis, then the High Shine Nails Bar in a Box is perfect for you, making it a lot more cost and time effective.

The set includes
Hi Shine Nails Before and After 2 in 1
Hi Shine Nails Cuticle Oil
Hi Shine Sparkle Nail File
Hi Shine Nails Finger Rest
Hi Shine Nails Base Coat
2 Hi Shine Nails Gel Polish
Hi Shine Nails Top Coat
Hi Shine Nails Ultra-Violet LED Curing Lamp
Hi Shine Nails Soak Off Remover
Hi Shine Emery Stick
Hi Shine Prepare for Gel Buffer
Fully Illustrated 'How to' Guide

One kit, without buying any extra polishes that usually retail at £14.95, will provide you with up to 60 full gel manicures which is really good in terms of cost per manicure.

Though mine aren't perfect, I think with a little more practise I could achieve really lovely looking nails. I love how shiny they look and the thickness of the gel definitely makes my nails look more presentable with a lovely shape.

Hi Shine Nails are available now, costing £120 for the Nail Bar in a Box set, £79.95 for the Travel Kit and £14.95 for the Gel Polishes.

What do you think of Hi Shine Nails? Is an at home kit something that would work well for you?

  1. I might be more tempted to use a gel kit if it was possible to use a gel topcoat over a regular nail polish - do you know if that's possible? Also, how do you go about removing a gel manicure? x

  2. I love the idea of this..they look so nice and shiny. But I get bored of my nail polish so quickly I don't think I'd want to keep it on for that long without changing the colour! xx
