Maxitone Sculptress 'Thank You' Moment

Now here's a word I didn't think I would ever mention on my blog- diet. I've never been a fan of the word and being a bit lazy when it comes to the whole thing, it's never been something I have ever really stuck to and find it to be a little over and misused.

On New Years Eve, I decided that this year would be the year I started to be a little more sensible with my food intake and the year that I would swap the frequent trips out for unhealthy food for trips to gym instead. I wasn't overweight, but I've never really been very healthy and working as Cabin Crew, eating not the most health-friendly of meals at crazy hours, it really had started to take its toll on my body and I think spread over a fair while, I put on about a stone to what I found my ideal weight.

For the first time ever, I went into "dieting" in the right frame of mind. I wasn't doing a crazy fad diet and I was doing it for the right reasons. I stocked up healthy clean ingredients, so that I would be able to stick to three healthy meals a day and being realistic, stocked up on a few healthy snacks too because they're my absolute weakness. Teamed with daily exercise and at a steady pace, I started to see great results and I found my lifestyle and fitness to have both changed for the better, with no major struggle.

Maxitone got in touch with me about a month into my new regime, to tell me about their new campaign 'Thank you Protein' which has been set to find the new face of Maxitones 2013 advertising. It seemed like quite the coincidence as I had just started to look into Protein supplement routes to boost my intake in my diet, to help me along with my fitness goals. They kindly provided me with some Chocolate Delight high protein snack replacement shakes as well as snack replacement Caramel Crunch bars, which although I was a little apprehensive about at first because I love food and wasn't sure they would work for me, I've managed to fit into my diet in a way that I found to be sensible, and used alongside my exercise plan they have worked a treat. Having now reached my goal weight and my 'Thank You Protein' moment, I am so, so pleased with the results. I have a few more personal fitness goals to reach but for the first time ever, I'm actually really enjoying working out.

If you have had a 'Thank You' moment that you want to share, you could win a years supply of Maxitone products, a years gym membership at LA Fitness, a private training session and you could become the face of Maxitones 2013 advertising campaign. To share the excitement surrounding everyones 'Thank You Protein' moments, Maxitone are also offering a little something to those that don't win too, which is very exciting. To enter, visit Maxitone online here

Do you have had any fitness wins or are you on the way to reaching any fitness or weight loss goals?
I would love to hear your stories, tips and inspiration.

  4. stupid question - are they meant to build muscle or burn fat? I've lost 2 stone in 7 weeks leading up to my 21st by going to the gym a lot and eating far healthier so anything that helps is a great thing! x
