Ole Henriksens Lemon Strip Flash Peel

For the past few months, Ole Henriksens Lemon Strip Flash Peel* has been one of my go to facial peels and now nearing the end of the tub, I thought it was about time that I let you in on my thoughts.

I'm really into anything that promises to reduce the appearance of any wrinkles and brighten my complexion and so from the offset I was extremely excited about using this product.

With quite a strong scent to it, this Lemon Strip Flash Peel works with Lactic, Fruit and Glycolic Acids to exfoliate and resurface the skin, with added ingredients of Licorice to brighten and reduce dark spots and Algae Extract to calm and soothe the skin after the acids have done their work on the skins surface.

Though very effective, I've found this gel based product to be pretty strong on my skin and 10 minutes of it generously layered is more than long enough. I find it does tingle quite a fair bit in comparison to other similar products that I have tried, but this is normal for this type of product although a patch test is recommended to those who suffer with sensitivity.

After washing this product off with warm water, my skin has immediate visible differences. It's certainly a lot softer to the touch and feels and looks a lot brighter. In terms of my wrinkles and pores, I haven't noticed any dramatic decrease in size or appearance, but I have continued to use it weekly as I'm really pleased with the results for my overall complexion.

I'm really impressed with the results of this facial peel and can certainly see why it's is one of Ole Henriksens best sellers for all skin types.

Costing £35 for 50ml, Ole Henriksens Lemon Strip Flash Peel is available to buy in Selfridges, John Lewis, Feel Unique and Beauty Bay.

Have you tried this facial peel? I would love to know your thoughts.
