I'm definitely that girl that sticks to what I like and when I find something I enjoy, in terms of both clothes and make up, I wear it over and over again until the next best thing comes along. Recently, since being introduced to Bobbi Browns Long Wear Gel Eyeliners*, I've become obsessed, and not a single day has passed without a stroke of gel liner being run along my lash line.
I've found Bobbi Browns Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate Ink* from the Rich Chocolate Collection to be the perfect daytime eyeliner. With going from no eye liner at all, to wearing it every day, it's been the perfect shade to ease me in, as it's not too dramatic and looks slightly more subtle and softer on the eye than a typical Black would.
Applied with a fine angled brush really closely to my lash line, so close that it's pretty much barely visible, it's helped to define my eyes a little more and adds a little emphasise to my mascara without being overbearing.
Incredibly long wearing, this gel liner does not budge until it's really worked away with a waterproof eye makeup remover and so I have found it to be a brilliant product for me to wear for work. No heat or humidity has caused for it to stray and it stays looking incredibly pigmented throughout the day with no touch ups.
Gel eyeliners are often aimed more towards eyeliner pros, which I am most certainly not. I'm surprised at how well I've got on with this product, but with the right brush, this soft, pigmented and easy to apply liner is an absolute dream.
Bobbi Browns Longwear Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate Ink is apart of the Rich Chocolate Collection, but has been added to the mainline as a new shade. If a close to Black, Brown shade is what you're after in a gel eyeliner, I really recommend you try this. At £17.50, it is available to buy on Bobbi Browns online store, as well as at counters in Selfridges, John Lewis, Harrods and Debenhams.
Are you a fan of gel eyeliners? Does Bobbi Browns Dark Brown addition appeal to you?

I love the idea of using a chocolate brown liner rather than black. Black can sometimes look a little harsh!
