REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser

I've recently been very much into my cleansers and all of a sudden my cleanser shelf seems to have grown somewhat, but following my love for the REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Balm* I decided to start reaching for the next product in my REN line up, which was the REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser*.

Not as luxurious and oily on the skin as the Purity 1 Cleansing Balm though with the same kind of concept, the Hot Cloth Cleanser in my opinion is ever so slightly more gentle and would probably be that little bit more kind to skin that struggles with the richness of a balm. Perfect for both day and night, although I don't find it as luxurious on the skin, it's still a perfectly good option that works at cleansing your skin brilliantly.

One pump worked into my face leaves my skin feeling really soft and supple, which I'm putting down to the nourishing Cocoa Butter ingredients and the exfoliating bonuses of using a hot cloth. Removed with the hot cloth, it leaves my skin feeling perfectly clean, soft and nicely refreshed ready for the day. On an evening, I find it works equally as good and removes all of my make up incredibly well and although I often remove my eye make up separately, on the occasions where that's been just too much work, this has worked beautifully well at doing so. Although this does a great job at its initial cleanse, I often go in for a double cleanse with this as it's super creamy and not harsh or stripping in the slightest and just ensures that my skin is completely clear of all make up and dirt that my skin may have picked up throughout the day.

Currently exclusive to Marks & Spencers, at £16 for 150ml of product, I personally think this is a pretty reasonable price point for the quality payback. Sure, there are other alternatives which come in at slightly better prices, but if you're a fan of REN and the Rosa Centifolia range, then this is definitely worth a try for an everyday cleanser suitable for all skin types.

Does this cleanser appeal to you? Are you a fan of the hot cloth concept?

  5. Have you tried the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser? If so, how does this fare in comparison to that? I really want to give another a go, but I love the Liz Earle one so much! x

  8. Lovely post, fab to see a return back to more oil/butter rich formulations. Nourishing oils and butters are incredibly good for boosting skin condition and nourishment. They work with your skin, mimicking or supporting the natural moisturising actions within your skin so are super effective at keeping things hydrated and healthy. Perfect even for oily or combination too, longer term the skin becomes more balanced with the right oils/butters.
