A couple of weeks ago now, Urban Decay launched the next product range in their Naked line and it was the launch of the extremely lovely looking Urban Decay Naked Lipglosses*.
With nine shades launched, all covering perfectly complimentary shade bases, I've been putting eight of them to the test and although I'm not a huge lipgloss fan, I have been thoroughly enjoying wearing these on top of a lipstick for that extra bit of colour, shine and dimension.
Liar*- a soft Mauve Pink, Naked*- a Nude Pink with a Pearly Pink finish, Streak*- a Coral Pink, Freestyle*- a Brown Nude with a subtle shimmer running throughout, Nooner*- a light neutral Nude, Lovechild*- a medium Pink, Rule34*- a medium Brown Nude and Walk Of Shame*- a pale Nude Pink with a very subtle shimmer are the eight shades that I have been trying day to day and all of them carry such pretty tones and finishes. My favourites are without a doubt Liar, Streak, Lovechild and Walk of Shame and I've found them becoming handbag essentials for keeping my lips moisturised and looking plump throughout the day.
On application, I must admit, these don't give as pigmentation as they do in a swatch and apply almost sheer, but they feel incredibly soft of the lips; hydrating and nourishing your lips beautifully whilst also adding a stunning glossy coat. With ingredients such as Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter and Rosehip Seed Oil, these have all been beautiful formulated, although personally, if there's one thing I could fault, it would be that I can't stand the taste, which for me, is ever so slightly reminiscent of cardboard.
Applied on top of a lipstick rather than directly on to bare lips, these are really lovely lip glosses to use and costing just £14 each, I think they're bound to be really popular.
Available to buy in Debenhams, House of Fraser and Look Fantastic now, they're definitely worth a look if you're into a glossy finish.
Do the Urban Decay glosses appeal to you? What's your favourite shade?
These look lovely. Everyone seems to be loving a good lip gloss at the moment!

These look gorgeous and creamy, shame they don't have much pigmentation though.

These look so beautiful! It makes me so sad that UD isn't available in Hong Kong because I'd love to try these out.
