Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude Collection

Time and time again I'm incredibly pleased with Bobbi Browns new products and collections and this time around is simply no different. 

A collection made up of some of my favourite tones that quite simply can only be described as a dream, the Nectar & Nude Collection boasts eight new limited edition products, six of which I've been fortunate to get my hands on. 

I was incredibly excited to see Bobbi Brown launch a new Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks and couldn't be more delighted with the shade Hibiscus* (£19.00). Multi functioning and nicely pigmented, Hibiscus works as cream blush whilst also pairing up as the most divine bright toned lip stain. Blended out on the cheeks, it creates a beautiful wash of colour and on the lips, although it is buildable to a more intense tone, it applies first as a soft looking and perfectly fresh stain. Pot Rouges make the perfect handbag product and I'm sure I'll get lots more use out of them, particularly when I'm stuck for time with mummy-make up.

Two new nail polishes including a glitter in the shades Nectar* and Bare Peach* (£11.00) also make up the collection and add quite a fun twist. Teamed up together, they create a slightly different side to what I'm used to seeing from Bobbi Brown, which is perfectly refreshing for Spring. Perfect for Spring Summer, Nectar gives a lovely Summery base shade whilst Bare Peach is the perfect glitter to be worn on top, maybe as a fancy accent nail.

Bobbi Brown glossses (£18.00) have recently taken a forefront in my newly growing lipgloss collection and these three shades are very much welcomed additions. Nude Pink* and Nectar* offer a beautiful pop of glossy colour to the lips and they're my ideal kinds of shades. Bare Peach* is a High Shimmer lip gloss, that offers a little extra sparkle and dimension. I like to apply this quite lightly, as if I'm honest I'm not the biggest fan of shimmer on the lips, but placed in the centre it creates such a pretty finish and adds in a little more light, creating a plumper look.

A Bobbi Brown collection wouldn't be complete without the addition of a new eye palette and cult status shimmer brick, and the two new limited edition products look absolutely gorgeous.

The Nude & Nectar Eye Palette (£37.50) consists of six shades; Pale Cream, Soft buff, Golden Bronze that carries a metallic finish, Pink Bellini that carries a sparkle finish, Earth and last but by no means least, Rich Caviar. The palette is teamed up with a duo ended brush that are always excellent quality which makes their palettes brilliant value in my opinion. The Nude & Nectar Eye Palette looks to be the perfect combination of shimmering Nectars, soft Taupes and Rich Browns, and it's definitely now on my wish list.

Recently getting more into a little bit of shimmer to create a little more light into my make up, I've been very much enjoying using Bobbi Browns Shimmer Bricks and the new limited edition Apricot Shimmer Brick (£32.00) looks as if it might be my dreamy combination of five complimentary and glowy tones. Made up of Golden Nectars, warm Taupes and icy Coral-Pink pearl pigments, I imagine this works equally well together for the perfect cheek shade as well as singular shades used on the eyes.
