Benefit Puff Off

As you can probably imagine, as a mum of a seven month old teething baby, rest is something I very much lack nowadays and my lack of downtime has definitely taken its toll on my eye area.

Days that I wake up without puffy eyes are few and far between and so the launch of Benefits Puff Off very much appealed to me.

Designed to "iron out" and smooth the look of puffy eyes and fine lines, this had my name all over it and I couldn't wait to give it a whirl.

Beforehand, I went down the route of more skincare based eye products, so I was interested to see Benefits take of a de-puffing, smoothing gel.

Puff Off works to cool, hydrate and smooth the under eye area both underneath and on top of make up, with a combination of the cool iron and the soft Pink gel with light defusing particles.

The first thing I noticed was that that iron designed tip was actually cool to the touch even before any product was released, which actually, I find very addictive and have found myself tapping on my eyes whilst writing this blog post.

Applied directly from the cool tip and tapped in with my ring finger, I find the results are great with a brightened, fresher under eye area that is satin smooth to the touch.

In terms of puffiness, which lets face is, beyond the cute packaging is what we're actually interested in, Puff Off definitely helps to reduce the look of puffiness and makes my eyes feel fresher, but I'm not too sure if there's much science behind it. The gel include a "peptide blend" which works with collagen to promote anti ageing, but I'm no expert and sadly I can't find too much information in regards to its use in the product.

Science or not, I really do like this product and applied on make up free days and on top of make up, it works equally well at smoothing and refreshing my under eyes which currently, is top of my cosmetic wish list.

Available to buy now from Benefit stores and counters in the likes of House of Fraser, Puff Off costs £22.50 for 10ml.

  2. I'm trialling a Michael Todd version of this at the moment - it's two products though and the tool vibrates. I'll have to have a look at this once that runs out! xx

  3. I'm really interested to try this. I've tried similar eye applicators and they feel SO nice when you're tired and your eyes are sore/puffy
