Back to the dark side

I woke up this morning, on a bit of a down day with my hair. So I decided to take a trip to Superdrug to purchase some hair colour.
I've been trying to get it lighter and lighter for ages, but to be honest- once I got half way, I got a bit bored. It was about 10 different shades and looked a mess.

My hairs going to go lighter whilst I'm on holiday anyway, but for the purpose of condition and shin
e I decided to go darker for a while.

I purchased a semi-permanent Clairol Nice & Easy box dye, which is meant to last about 30 washes. It will probably last about a month and a half for me. I feel like its going to fade very quickly with all the lighter hair underneath.
The colour I chose was Light Ash Brown, which I have used before and costs £4.09.
It's really easy to use and within 15 minutes you have a new colour to your locks.
My mum says you can hardly tell it has been coloured- but I definitely can.
My hair takes me ages to get used to, I imagine it will be a week or so before I start to really enjoy it. I hate 'new hair'- by this I mean freshly washed, cut or coloured hair. I like it a few days old, which I'm told isn't uncommon.

The lipstick I am wearing is my FAMOUS one, in the shade Heather.

FAMOUS Lips.. Be Mine

Hey sweets,
I recently shared with you my absolute bargain of a buy in Superdrug- a lipstick by Sue Moxleys range FAMOUS in Shade 3 Be Mine and I absolutely love it.
All week I have worn it at work and I have received so many compliments.
It's an orangey coral toned red which to be honest, I would never have dreamed of trying before I braved the red lip.
I'm so pleased with it, it has great staying power which is completely necessary for me. Working in an aeroplane is very dehydrating and my lips tend to suffer a lot, but this stayed shiny and sat on my lips really well. When it did start to come off, it did
n't stain my lips as much as some lip colours have in the past which is a bonus too.

Braving a Red lip

I decided when I woke up today that I would be a little more adventurous with my make up- I get really bored with wearing the same make up every day- as I'm sure you do too.
I opted for a a lip colour change, a red lip..
eek!

(Major flashback fail)

I used my MUA Red lippy- Shade 13 from Superdrug- it was only £1, what a steal!

I'm not so sure about this at all- but I'll live with it for today.
I would love to know what you think?

Accessorize Illusion Nail Polish- Gold Dust

Sparkles, Glitter, Fairy Dust..
What more could a girl possibly dream of?

When the sparkles from my friend Sophie's nails caught my eye I knew instantly that I needed the little wonder in my life..
It reminded me very much of a Barry M Gold nail paint that I used to have- but this ones a hundred times better.

I got it from Superdrug and it costs £4 which is fabulous. Accessorize have a huge range of nail colours, and the nail illusion range come in a range of about 8 different colours. I felt the Gold Dust Shade 36 would suit me the most although I am tempted to pick up the Bronze as well now.

"Create the illusion of multiple colours and tones in one shade!"

Its actual glitter dust and dries with the texture of the glitter rather than having a shiny coat which is dreamy because its slight roughness reminds you that you actually are wearing glitter and thats just fabulous.

Its actually a lot more matte than it appears in the photos..the photos don't do it justice at all!

It dries on the nails really quickly too which surprised me.

I am absolutely in love and have already decided that this is going to live on my toes when I go on holiday..I imagine it will sparkle through the sand and I can't wait.

Hope your fabulous x
