Ardell False Eyelashes- BLACK 105

I was sent these Ardell lashes in Black 105 and couldn't wait to get them stuck on.
For my eyes, I thought they would be quite huge. I normally only use corner lashes, but infact, they actually looked okay. I had a look on Ardells website, and these lashes are recommended for Large eyes- as you can see, I have quite small eyes.
My left eye is smaller that the right, and I wasn't as happy with how it looked on that one, but I think maybe after a little trim they will be perfect.
These lashes come with adhesive and are packed in a little carry case which is so handy as I lose so many lashes all of the time!

They are really lightweight, soft and so pleasant to use.
Ardell lashes are made from sterilized 100% Human hair to look and feel like your own, which explains why they are so soft as opposed to other brands I have used in the past that feel quite cheap.

Ardell has the worlds largest selection of easy to use, premium quality false lashes.
I can't believe I haven't purchased any before.
After looking on there website, they have so many I'm going to try.
They have a HUGE selection, and there website is incredibly helpful. I know some of my friends never know which ones to try because they don't know what will suit them, but on the Ardell website, there all categorised into eye shapes, styles and occasions. They even have a 'Find your perfect lash' tool which is fab.
Have a little look here.

These particular lashes retail for about £5/£6

(please excuse my dressing gown, my fake tan was drying..)

I searched asos but I can't really see much I'm in love with. I want to spend my amazing Groupon voucher! I did however treat myself to a new bottle of Xen Tan Dark Lotion.

I passed all my exams with 100% last week so I'm feeling very relaxed and happy now.

I went to the seaside and visited family.

I wore my Dollybowbow bracelet for the first time in ages and it broke :(
I dug out this old Topshop top,I hardly wore when it was new and chose to brighten up my day and wear it.

I had to get photos done in the photobooth. I hate these things! It normally takes about 3 sets of photos until I'm happy, this time I settled for the first ones.
I had a gorgeous Costa. Hello Double Chocolate Flake Iced Dessert.
This is becoming something I do every Saturday.

Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream

I know that recently my blogs been a little product review heavy, but I have so many wonderful things I want to share with you before I get back to work. There hasn't been many "faces" on my blog due to the fact that I've been working and don't look particulary share-able.

This is something I HAVE to share with you.
Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream

I've only used it for a couple of weeks now, but I'm sure its working wonders on my skin.
I don't really have bad skin anyway, but I feel as if my skin is so hydrated and soft at the moment.

I have been looking for a moisturiser that will be good for when I'm at work. As you may know I'm an air hostess, so my skin gets very dehydrated in the conditions. This was recommended to me and so I was very keen to purchase it.

It kind of reminds me of E45; the consistency, look and even the smell.

What they say.
"Specially formulated to intensively nourish and help repair you skins natural barrier...Penetrates deeply to rehydrate, relieving tightness and irritation and leaving it feeling smooth"
"Smooth onto skin whenever it feels dry, tight or itchy. Light enough to be used under make up. Ideal for every day use"
Absolutely.

My skin really feels so good. So smooth. So soft. So moisturised. It's also works so well under your make up.
I love it.

It comes in a 50ml tube and I managed to get one in Boots as apart of the 3 for 2 deal for £7.65. I say managed, because everytime I went to buy it, it was sold out.
I also saw it in Sainsburys so got one there too, and it was on special offer for about £4. Yay!

I really recommend that you try this, its actually brilliant.

EcoTool 6 Piece Brush Set

This set comes with 5 Bamboo make up brushes; Blush Brush, Eye Shading Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Lash & Brow Groomer, Concealer Brush all packed in a handy cotton and hemp little brush roll.

EcoTools offer all natural, recycled and earth-friendly products. These brush handles are Bamboo and the bristles are Synthetic taklon bristles and are 100% cruelty free.

These brushes really are so lovely to work with. I've been reaching for them every day since receiving them, especially the Blush and Concealer brush.
I've used some brushes in the past that have been either too long to work with or too short but these are just the right size for me.
They are so soft aswell, the synthetic bristles are really smooth. I find so many of my brushes have such bristle fall out, but when I use these I dont find hairs all over my face.

I particulary like the Blush brush, it's so nicely tapered. Below I've tried to photograph how tapered it is but it doesn't really show. The bristles are quite short and don't pick up an overload of product from the pan which I really like.
I use this to contour my cheeks and it works perfectly.

The concealer brush also works on me perfectly. I use Studio Finish and I find it really works the product in for me.

Overall, these brushes are really nice to work with. I'm going to to buy an EcoTools foundation brush to try.
I've seen this set in Boots for £15.31 and Boots Online. I think that is such a reasonable price. It works out £3.06 for each brush.

Have a little look on the EcoTools website for there full ranges and stocklists.

Project Rapidlash

Hello sweets,

I've been away for the past week for a work training course and how happy was I when I got home and saw this waiting for me?? Answer- SO happy!

Those of you that follow me on Twitter may know of my little eyelash disaster at Christmas.
For those of you that dont.. I got lazy when I was removing my falsies and ended up taking about half a centimetre of my real lashes off with them. Big cries!
It was a pretty vile time and I spent my boxing day panicking that they would never grow back and being reassured my the lovely girls on Twitter that they would. They did. To be honest, really quickly (a few weeks?) but I feel as if they now haven't got something that they did have.

My eyelashes have always been a bit of a fail. Really light, lifeless and not very long.
When I got this in the post I couldn't contain my excitement and started using it right away. I've used it for a week aleady but I am offically commencing Project Rapidlash.

I'd love to know whether you have used it and how you got on?

"Clinically proven up to 50% longer looking natural lashes*. RapidLash serum conditions your lashes to look stronger, fuller, and longer in as few as 8 weeks."

This will be on-going. I'll tweet and blog to keep you up to date with the results.
Fingers crossed!!

Good Things Good Clean Fun & Face Of The Day

Good Things Good Clean Fun Freshening Polish 100ml & Good Things Face Of The Day Moisturiser 100ml

Good Things Good Clean Fun Freshening Polish 150ml
with superfruit extracts Strawberry & Cranberry

"Dead skin cells tend to stick to the skins surface, making it looks dull, and threatening to block pores. Banish them with this gentle exfoliating polish. Strawberry seeds and joboba beads act as natural exfoliants to lift away dead cells along with dirt and impurities, while antioxidants-rich cranberry extact helps to keep skin calm."
When I received this in the post I was a little apprehensive about using it as I really have a huge dislike towards Strawberry flavoured/scented foods and products and Strawberry seeds is one of the main ingredients.

However, I really did want to try it as I'm slightly obsessed when it comes to clearing my pores and exfoliating my face.
My intial "smell test" of the product was fine. Its a very sweet smell and not overbearing. I've been using it for a few weeks now and can honestly say the smell doesn't affect me because I really enjoy using it.
The products a nice consistency, it isn't too thin nor is it too thick. When applied to damp skin, it really washes into the skin well. It has just enough beads and seeds in it, that when massaged into the skin you can feel really getting to work exfoliating. The beads come from joboba and the seeds are from Strawberry.

I pay special attention to my T Zone, especially my nose where oil and dirt builds up the most.

When using this product, I think its important to be gentle- especially around the eye area as with any exfoliating product, you don't want to be too harsh on your skin. Its antioxidant-rich ingredient Cranberry keeps the skin calm.

I like to do an initial wash to clear dirt and then use a small amount of product for a second gentle wash to further clean and smooth.
When you wash the product off, your skin is noticably smooth. Good things recommend that you use this two to three times a week.
This is available from Boots or online here for £5.10

After exfoliating, I have been using;

Good Things Face The Day Moisturiser 100ml
with superfruits Goji Berry & Papaya
"helps keep skin soft and in great condition. This light, hydrating lotion is easily absorbed and as UV filters for added protection"
I have been on the search for a really good moisturiser and I am so pleased with how this works.

Its a really smooth and very light product and when applied to the skin it really does just melt in.

Its perfect to use underneath make up as it doesn't leave your skin feeling or looking greasy, but leaves your skin super soft and moisturised.
Face of the day has Goji Berry extract within it to soothe the skin and Papaya to improve your skins radiance.

Once again, this product is quite fragrant. Its nice though and again, not to overbearing. Once applied it leaves a soft smell behind which I really like.
I apply this to my face, neck and decolletage twice a day and am really pleased with the results so far.
This is available from Boots or online here for £8.16

Boots are currently running there 3 for 2 offer on all skin care so its the perfect opportunity to try out these products. I think it runs until the end of March.
All of Good Things products are free from Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Mineral Oils and very importantly Animal ingredients! You can view there full range on there website;

John Frieda 3 Day Straight Results

I finally managed to get some pictures of how my hair looked after 2 full days of using 3 day straight on my hair.
It might appear a bit messy to you- the ends are just horrific and in much need of a cut but trust me, this is my hair neat.
I have avoided putting my hair up to keep it from having kinks which is usually why I find myself reaching for my straighteners the most and I have had to brush it more than usual because its seems a little more fly away because of the softness maybe but overall I love it. I really love how soft it makes my hair feel.
It's definitely a product which will keep the me from using my GHD's so much aswell which on its own is a miracle.
My full review on the product is here xx
