I mentioned a while ago that I am on an ever-going search for the perfect lip pencil to wear with Nudes and along with my MAC pencil in In Sync, Laura Merciers Carnation* now sits at the forefront of my collection.
Carnation is an absolutely beautiful light toned Pink lip pencil which although I find to be slightly too light and drying for me to wear alone, teamed with a gloss or a Nude lipstick is absolutely perfect.
I find it works better when it's not too sharp, so I like to work it into my hand before applying, so that I get a soft pigmented application, which helps to make my lipstick stay put.
I'm really impressed with this Laura Mercier lip pencil and after swatching a few others at a counter the other day, have True Red next on my list.
