Leonor Greyl and Johnnie Sapong at Cannes

Cannes Film Festival is one of those delightful annual occasions that set in the beautiful French Riviera on top of the Blue seas and luxurious marina, is full of the extremely fabulous and in one word can only be described as glamorous.

Of course, we all love a little glamour and I particularly loved following the Red Carpet action throughout May to see who was wearing what and of course, the hair and beauty trends.

Cannes oozes luxury and sophistication and the dresses and tresses that appeared on the Red Carpet throughout were second to none. Many of the hairstyles that caught my eye were styled by the fantastic Leonor Greyl team using their range of natural and luxurious products and I personally thought they stole the show as such and fell perfectly into the ever so chic atmosphere.

Hair stylist to the stars Johnnie Sapong, created some very beautiful looks using Leonor Greyl throughout the film festival and some of the very natural looking chic looks that stood out to me were on Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Ahna O'Reilly and Eva Herzigovas.

Using a range of natural products including Éclat Naturel; a styling cream that works to condition and detangle and Huile Secret de Beauté which is multipurpose oil for hair and skin that leaves your hair feeling so soft and looking incredibly shiny, Johnnie worked his art to perfection and it was clear that his passion of luxury, nature and beauty worked beautifully in the collaboration.

I've been attempting to recreate both Eva Herzigovas and Joan Smalls perfectly exquisite looks myself and have found Huile Secret de Beauté to be such a lovely product to help provide my quite damaged hair with the lovely shine and sleek softness needed for both Evas sleek bun and Joans beautifully chic tousled waves, whilst also treating my hair to the nourishment it currently so desperately needs. The oil is a luxurious blend of Lemon Grass, Tiare and Yucca and works beautifully well both in my hair and spritzed onto my skin; allowing both to be pampered and infused with the most delicious of scents.

If you fancy a little red carpet hair treatment yourself, Leonor Greyl products are available to buy at Selfridges, Cult Beauty, Bliss Pharmacy, John Bell & Croyden and Net-A-Porter, although currently Huile Secret de Beauté is only available to buy in Harrods pharmacy and Net-A-Porter.

What's your favourite look that Johnnie Sapong created? Have you tried any Leonor Greyl products?

  1. Very beautiful hair. I love every style. The third picture has to be my favorite short hair cut that I have seen in awhile.
