Last night I popped over to the Bourjois HQ in London to have a little look at the new products that Bourjois have to offer this Summer 2013 and I thought I would give you a little peek into the beauties that are ready to hit counters next month.
Bourjois continue to impress me with the fantastic quality that their products offer and I really love the diverse range of pretty shades and formulas that they continue to bring to the table. Summer 2013 is sees a fair few new releases from Bourjois and just like with any brand/collection, I have my stand outs products that I am super excited about.
Bourjois' take on the Chubby Stick/Balm Stain, Bourjois Colour Boost Lipsticks are something that I've been looking forward to for quite a while now and honestly, I can't get enough. As soon as I set my eyes on them, I knew the shades were my ideal tones and I couldn't wait to get swatching. 01 Red Sunrise, 02 Fuchsia Libre, 03 Orange Punch and 04 Peach on the Beach are all divine and costing £7.99 each, they make up the perfect tones to see you through Summer. I'll be reviewing my two featuring my two favourite shades shortly, can you guess which ones they are?
Three products that I have found myself reaching for pretty frequently are the Maxi Delight Bronzer*, the BB Bronzing Cream* and the Bronzing Primer* and although I'm yet to finish my reviews on them, I can assure you that they are drug store must haves that if you're into being bronzed, will keep you looking beautifully sunkissed and especially Summer ready.
For the past year, I have found myself continually raving about both the colour range and the Gel formula that Bourjois Nail 1 Seconde Nail Enamels offer and although I'm quite the colour bore, the two new shades stood out to me from afar and in particular, 22 Turquoise Block is a dream and I can see it being the perfect shade to wear with a tan. 23 In the Navy isn't really a shade I would necessarily go for, but if you're into Blues, this is a perfect bright tone and probably one of the most flattering Blues available for Summertime.
Just like Blue nails, I've said it before, I'm not massive on nail art, however, Bourjois are set to launch some pretty fabulous products, some of which after being demonstrated to me by the pros, have appealed a fair bit. Laser Toppings by Bourjois create the perfect glittery, sparkly nail which although I usually find more appealing throughout the colder months, are really very pretty and come in a range of three shades; Blue Neon, Sun Scales and Aqua Purple- all of which can build up to full coverage on the nail and look incredibly pretty. If more detailed nail art is your thing, then the Nail Art Dotting Tool priced at just £3.99 could be for you. Made easy, the double ended tool works a treat at creating the perfect polka dot designs which really do look so girly and dreamy, as do the new Manicure Toppings.
Other new launches that excited me include the travel sized, full sized mascaras. Volume Glamour Max Holidays come in four shades and although I first found them pretty reminiscent of coloured hair mascaras that I spent my childhood applying in streaks to my locks, they are super complimentary to different eye colours and perfect for holiday times, have a 24 hour waterproof formula which is perfect for both the sun and the pool.
Last and by no means least, the limited edition Vintage Candle which carries the exact same Powdery Rose scent that the infamous Bourjois Blushes carry, is absolutely beautiful! Available exclusively to Selfridges, I'll be picking one of these up for sure. The scent as well as the vintage Babette design from the 1920's imagery are both so lovely and I already have a place in mind where this candle will sit absolutely perfectly.
Available in Selfridges, Boots, Superdrug and ASOS, these products will all be available as of July.
Keep your eyes peeled for some reviews on some of my Summer 2013 picks; which will most definitely include two of my favourite Colour Boost Lipsticks as well as the new bronzing range, which I have been using for a while now and can't get enough of.
Do any of these products stand out for you? Will you be visiting a Bourjois counter with any of these products in mind?
Oh wow, I wouldn't even begin to know how to pick a favourite!
