Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette + Swatches

Since the rumours of a Naked 3 palette hit the beauty world by a storm around a month ago, not a beauty related conversation has passed without at least a small mention of the Naked threesome popping up somewhere, and earlier this week I was invited along for a sneak peek at the 12 shadow palette and I can confirm, yes you do need it.

A question that has cropped up a fair few times, is how Urban Decay could make Naked happen again and how a third one would differ so much so that we would need it, and they've done so in a very lovely, beautiful Rose toned fashion. Rose hued as opposed to the previous Naked palettes, Naked 3 consists of 12 new and incredibly pigmented shades in the form of;

Strange- A netural pale Pink matte-satin, Dust- a pale metallic Pink shimmer with iridescent micro glitter, Burnout- a light Rosy Peach satin, Limit- a light dusty Rose matte, Buzz- a metallic Rose shimmer with Silver micro glitter, Trick- a light metallic Pink Copper with a tonal micro sparkle, Nooner- medium Pink Brown matte, Liar- a medium metallic Mauve with shimmer, Factory- a Pink Brown satin, Mugshot- a metallic Taupe shimmer with a touch of Pink, Darkside- a deep Taupe Mauve satin and Blackheart- a smoky Black matte with a Rosy Red micro sparkle.

Certainly one for the lover of a girly Rose toned neutral, the Naked 3 is a perfectly complimentary palette and teamed with a weeks worth of each of Urban Decays Eye Primers as well as the double ended Urban Decay brush, it has endless capabilities to create a range of beautiful looks.

Launching on the 16th December, the Naked 3 will cost the same as the previous two palettes at £37 and is available for pre-order now on Look Fantastic and shortly on Debenhams and House of Fraser.

What do you think of the Naked 3? I would love to know your thoughts on the Naked trio.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Urban Decay is renowned for its Naked products and since the original Naked Palette came out back in   2011, it has become somewhat of a trend in terms of make up and so many, including me well and truly jumped on the bandwagon, especially when it came up to the follow up Naked 2 Palette.

Recently, Urban Decay have added a further Naked Palette into the collection; the Naked Basics Palette*, which differs from the others in that it only homes six neutral shades, five of which are matte.

The palette is supposed to provide you with the basics that you would need to create the perfect look and so for me, I think this is a great palette to have to really introduce me into having a fancy eye nicely and build up my neutral shades.

The shades included are Venus which is a frosted White shade and the only in the palette to have any shimmer in it, Foxy which is a Yellow toned Beige, Walk of Shame which is a Pink toned Beige, Naked 2 which is a very true medium Taupe, Faint which is a darker Brown shade and last but my no means least, Crave which is a true Black and the perfect addition if you're going for a full on smokey eye.
My favourite shades are probably Naked 2 and Faint as I find them the most complimentary and although the lighter matte shades are nice bases, I don't really find they do anything for me.
Venus is quite a little addition to the palette and although it stands out a little, being the only one to carry shimmer, it is perfect for under the brow or in the inner corner of the eye and so helps to make this a eyeshadow staple product by homing the essentials.

Foxy through to Crave are really very matte, which I do know sounds a little odd as realistically a products formula either is or isn't but these do seem super matted- possibly even a little chalky?

Though I am really pleased to have this handy mirrored palette in my collection as my original palette somehow ended up a permanent feature in my mums make up bag, I'm not sure it quite lived up to the hype as much as the previous ones did. The colours are super pigmented and will most definitely be used, which I suppose is the main point, but there seems to be a little something that isn't quite appealing to me.

This Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette costs £20 and is available to buy in Debenhams, Beauty Bay and HQHair.

What do you think of this palette? Did you jump on the Naked bandwagon like I did?

What I'm wearing.. Naked!

I was having a little discussion last night about what make up suits me and what I enjoy using the most. I'm really not very much of an eye make up girl, which I have said lots and so today I decided to have a little bit of a play with my Naked Palette.
My camera hasn't picked it up very well and has picked a random bit up in the picture below..but not one for touching up photos- especially FOTD's, I decided to post it anyway.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC35
Collection 2000 Lasting Finish Concealer
Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Bronzing Powder
Fake Bake Sunburn Blush
No7 Brown/Black Eye Pencil
L'Oreal Architect 4D- Black
L'Oreal Super Liner- Carbon Black
Urban Decay Naked Palette- Naked, Buck, Darkhorse, Hustle
On my lips I just have Carmex with a bit of foundation underneath that was accidently brushed onto them as I was a little messy today..whoops!

My hair has just been washed, whilst it was wet I sprayed it with Umberto Giannini Grunge Glamour Tousled Salt Spray which I forgot I had- it gave me amazing volume and I love it.

I'm still not overly loving eye make up on me, but I am enjoying it for today.

I hope your well sweethearts xx

What I wore..to the Kim Kardashian UK Perfume Launch

Part One

Today was one of my most amazing days to date.
I was lucky enough to be invited along to a Champagne Reception for the launch of Kim Kardashians beautiful perfume at The Dorchester, Park Lane.

It was absolutely amazing and I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
I love the Kardashians- especially Kim, so to have been invited was completely surreal!

I met some really fabulous people and we sipped Champagne and nibbled on lots of fabulous things in the most luxurious Crystal Room, it couldn't have been any more delightful.

(I am in this photo, but I cropped myself out because I look terrible :(..)

I have a huge amount of photos of Kim and the event to share with you and I will be posting them as soon as possible.

Rather than post a huge single photo heavy post, I thought I would share what I wore with you now and then I am able to go into complete detail with you on the Kim post- of course most importantly the perfume but also the shoes, the make up, the ring, the hair! It is so worth the wait I promise!

Urban Decay Naked Palette

How excited was I when I saw that we had started stocking this in Duty Free at work? Very excited!

I've been eyeing it up for a while now, but as I'm sure you know- I'm not really an eye make up girl. I don't think it works 0n me very well and to be honest I'm just not very good at it.

I definitely need to have a little play and teach myself and thought what better way to do so, than with the Naked palette.

The Naked palette has been a huge sucess and is forever being raved about by beauty bloggers.
Its packed with 12 neutral shades which are just divine.
It comes in the nicest little casing with a little Primer Potion and an Urban Decay eyeshadow brush, I cannot wait to get started with using this.
I definitely think I already have my favourite shades but I will include them in a full review post with swatches very soon!

Have you got the Naked Palette? What are your favourite shades?
I would love to see looks you have created using it if you would like to link your photos/posts in the comments below.

I know that this is available in House of Fraser and Debenhams priced at £32.

xx
