Last Friday I attended a Boots event which was organised to celebrate the launch of their new campaign- Let's Give It A Go!
Boots want to encourage us to step a little bit out of our comfort zones and try new trends, colours and products this Spring Summer, which I personally think is a great idea, having been stuck in a rut with my make many a time in the past.
The event was held in London and had quite a "Pic'n'mix" feel about it, as we were allowed to pick products out that we wouldn't necessarily normally go for and in turn try a new trend.
There were three rooms which were each home to different trends; Hair which was made up of Ojon, Mark Hill and Bumble & Bumble where Mark Coates, the head of Bumble worked his wonderful magic on Sabrina, Nails with Marianne Newman and her team where Moon-Manis were very popular amongst the beauty bloggers and Make Up with No7 and Seventeen, where the lovely Make Up Artist Vanesa Guallar advised the most amazing bright Coral lipstick, Gay Geranium by No7, which I love.
Boots and the each of the individual brands showcased their latest products that tie in with Boots takes on the SS13 trends, all of which are all available to see on their new Let's give it a go website here. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to take a few lovely products home with me and I'll be sure to share my personal takes on the trends with you very soon.
If you fancied updating your look to something more "on trend", this Friday 22nd March, Boots are holding in-store events in 32 stores throughout the UK where they will be offering expert help and makeovers.
I know I'm going to be recreating the Victory Roll on my hair at work as well as the bright Red lip, what trends will you be rocking this Spring Summer?
I really loved these pictures! :D
