So by now, I'm sure we've all heard of BB creams and although I've never been blown away with many of them, I was very intrigued when I saw that Boots were launching a Beauty Balm for lips- No7 BB Lips*.
No7 Beauty Balm for lips offers pigmentation, soothing nourishment and UV protection in the form of SPF15 and so although named as a Beauty Balm for lips, if I'm totally honest with myself, this pretty much offers what most lip balms do. In saying that, I come across a fair few lip balm products similar to this that I don't love and I love pretty much everything about this product in the shade Blush Pink.
My first impressions were that it kind of reminded me of the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors. The only significant difference being that it's a darker shade (lighter and even more similar are available) and the fact that it doesn't have a spongey doe foot like applicator. Other than that, it applies pretty similarly and feels just as lovely, moisturising and light on the lips.
Offering a soft gloss from the balm qualities, alongside the pretty pigmentation of the Blush shade this looks really nice and subtle on the lips; nothing too over the top and a perfect day time shade.
I find it stays put on my lips nicely and although I do find myself topping up quite frequently, even just for the SPF15 factor, it isn't necessarily as even when it wears off, it does so nice and evenly which is great.
This No7 BB Lips is hypo-allergenic which makes it perfect for those with any sensitivity on their lips and although I think its BB status isn't too indifferent from a normal tinted balm, with the pretty range of six shades that No7 have to offer, I think they're definitely worth a look.
Do you like the look of this product? Does Pink Blush or any of the other shades look like something you would like in your make up bag?
I have a £3 off voucher sat it my purse, I might have found what to spend it on! This is a really lovely colour on you, it's quite an unusual shade, love!

This looks lovely! When I first heard about this I was a little bit annoyed - those double B's are taking over the world. But I love my Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector so a cheaper alternative sounds perfect.

This one will be going in my skiing kit list - balm, SPF and colour? Everything a girl needs on the slopes! Although it's summer and I shouldn't be thinking of skiing ;-)

I have one of these and I really like it, it's great knowing you're using an SPF too as you go about your business.
