Liz Earle Colour- Sheer Skin Tint
Hello dolls,
I was recently given the opportunity to try out the new and exciting product from Liz Earle. It's apart of there new Colour range and is the Sheer Skin Tint.

"We have formulated a unique, high performance beauty must-have that delivers great results on all skin types. Sheer Skin Tiny is our first step into effortless, easy to wear colour. It's a skin thing!" Liz Earle
Before this arrived, my expectations were that this product was going to be more of a tinted moisturiser- something that I don't really get on with but nevertheless I was still very excited to try it as I love Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish and had extreme high hopes that this would be fabulous. I was both wrong and right. I was right in that this is a fabulous product and wrong in assuming this was going to be just like a tinted moisturiser- it's so different and I am thrilled.
This product promises to leave your skin looking dewy, even and radiant with the perfect level of coverage to achieve naturally beautiful skin and that it does. The only issue for me is the slightly less coverage than I usually would go for, but it is perfect for me for 'less is more' days.
"The perfect way to enchance your skin. Our rich, creamy formula leaves skin look naturally dewy, even and radiant. With mineral UV protection SPF15, plus our own specially selected blend of botanicals. You'll love its sheer coverage and lightweight feel"
The consistency pleasantly surprised me. I was expecting a very thin oily moisturiser like consistency and instead I was presented with exactly how Liz Earle describes as a rich and creamy formulation very similar to a foundation- but extremely lightweight.
It is so easy and lightweight that it applies like a dream, theres no expertise to be had when applying this which suits me just fine- I applied it with my fingers and blended in without any trouble whatsoever.
The directions for use are "Apply for forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Blend in with your fingertips"- It really is that easy.
I got this in Beige for Medium skin tones. It will also be available in Bare for light skin tones and Beach for darker skin tones. I hate deciding on a shade so much, but went for the middle shade. I go from very pale to tanned quite frequently and so it can get tricky. The great news is that Liz Earle is offering First time, right shade- which means that when customers order this product for the first time by mail you will be provided with samples of all three shades so that you can try it before you open the full size product. I think this is such a good idea and that more companies should follow this.
I mentioned above that the only thing that is a slight issue is the coverage. Don't get me wrong- this is going to be the perfect coverage for the majority of you, but I personally don't usually leave the house without full. Not because I have bad skin, purely because that's how I'm most comfortable. HOWEVER, this isn't a foundation and I think I have found the perfect product for them 'just popping out- don't need a full face days' and I am so happy with it. As I mentioned it's so easy and quick to apply and it leaves your skin looking really dewy, fresh and natural. It's a really nice balance. I normally am pretty much matte all over, but for the natural look the sheer finish really compliments your skin and gives you the fresh faced look.
I think I'm going to try to avoid using it all the time now because I think its going to make the perfect product to take away to Thailand with me, not only because its lightweight and easy to apply but because is does have mineral UV protection SPF15 which is extremely important to me in a facial product.
The pictures below show just the Liz Earle Skin Tint on my skin with no other products.

Liz Earle Stores
Liz Earle is also available in selected John Lewis stores, Fenwick of Bond Street, Atelier Living and QVC.
It is going to be available in 3 shades; Bare, Beige and Beach and I really recommend that you try this if you are after a product that is just going to give you just a lighter just enough coverage and leave you with a dewy and radiant finish.

What I'm wearing...
Hello my loves,
I've been really busy at work this week and I am super tired and drained! I have wanted to blog for a few days but I knew my posts would be a little fail because I haven't had any energy whatsoever so I've put it off until now.
I popped out last night with the girls for cheeky cocktails which was fab and woke today very much in a cosy tracksuit mode but my boyfriend wanted to take me to Camden for lunch so I dragged myself out of bed and put my face on.
This is what I wore..
-MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC35
-No7 Bronzing Pearls
-17 Natural Brown Eyebrow Pencil
-L'oreal Carbon Black Superliner
-L'oreal 4d Lash Architect Black
-MAC Peachstock

Babyliss Curling Wand: Model 2285U
Just a quick one because I haven't even used them yet but I have been on the search for a little curling wand for a while now and have been told that Babyliss ones were pretty good.
I picked this one up in Tescos today on sale for £19.99 from £24.99- just incase any of you are on the hunt for one too.
They might be rubbish (I hope not) but I'll let you know within the next few days time.

Have any of you used these?

MAC Costa Chic Swatch
Evening my lovelies,
I've seen quite a few mentions of Costa Chic over Twitter over the past few days so I thought I would share a little swatch with you.
This is a lipstick that I've had in my collection for over a year and to be honest..it has hardly touched my lips.
I do wear it on the odd occasion but I'm just not sure about it on me. I have a little bit of a thing with Frost lipsticks, and this is one of them.
I can't quite decide why, but it just feel they do nothing for me. I think its the metallic look to it?
That aside, I do love the base colour of this lipstick. It's a perfect pinky coraly beaut, perfect for these summer days.

Have you tried Costa Chic- what do you think?
