Thailand Adventures

I just booked a trip to Thailand for me and my boyfriend and am absolutely so excited!

I've wanted to go for ages and so took the plunge and just booked it.

We are going to spend November hopping from island to island and I would love some recommendations, tips and things from you. Whether you have been or just know lots about Thailand I'd love to hear from you.

I know its quite a while away, but I love to be organised so please comment below, tweet me or send me a little message please- it would be hugely appreciated!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

When this pretty little package turnt up in my post, I couldn't have been any more thrilled.

Packaged in the most delightful way was Liz Earles Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser.

Inside the pretty little case was a bottle of 100ml Cleanse and Polish and 2 Muslin cloths.

This is the Starter kit which retails at £13.25 and is available on the Liz Earle website here.

"Our plant-based cleanser has a 2-phase action, phase 1 is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara. Phase 2 is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to help gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin. Naturally active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter for smoother, clearer skin."

Morning and night will never be the same again..

Phase 1- Cleanse. Simply massage the cleanser onto dry skin over your eyes, neck and face. This will be sure to purify, cleanse and stimulate circulation.

Phase 2- Polish. Rinse the pure muslin cloth provided in hot water, and wring it out. Use the cloth to polish off the cream and then splash your face a little with a cold water.

This product is suitable for all skin types which makes it accessible to everyone which is fab, and Liz Earle don't test there products on Animals- Yay!

As soon as I got this, I literally could not wait to get started. I had heard so many wonderful things and was excited to see whether it would live up to the great things I had heard.

It absolutely did, wow. I'm not sure my words can describe quite how happy I am with Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish.

Up until now I've been all about face wipes really, well no more! This is so much more fulfilling, with excellent results.

I'm so happy with this product that I may go as far as to say its the best skin care product that I have ever tried- and I have tried tons!

It is so quick and easy to use. I've been using it for just over a week now and I can honestly say after cleansing my skin has never felt so soft, clean and fresh. The smell of the product is so refreshing and has a really pure clean scent to it.

I definitely have skin that loves to be exfoliated and the Phase 2 part of the routine does this perfectly. Its not too harsh, infact its very delicate and my skin is left feeling amazing and looking so clear.

One pump of product removes all of my caked on face of make up. Its truely just wonderful.

When I first heard of this product, I was a little bit concerned that I would forever be buying replacement Muslin Cloths because I thought they would get so grubby with all my make up, but they rinse and clean up so well every time.

Every single aspect of this product is brilliant no wonder its received so many awards.

I love reviewing products but I don't always really like to always tell my readers to 'go and buy this now', because realistically, not everybody can. I know I certainly can't afford to buy every product I like the look of but honestly, honestly, honestly..I urge you to take the plunge and buy this. I can't see myself going back to my old routine, its so amazing beautiful wonderful!

Its also a wonderful idea for a Mothers Day gift.

Happy 15th Anniversary! xx

A Little Haul

This weekend I popped into Town to get a few last minute things for work- boring tights, underwear etc and picked up a few small extra little bits and pieces..

Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Backcomb in a bottle and Grunge Glamour Tousled Salt Spray. 2 for £7.50 in Boots Primark Goodies.. Bracelets- £1 each Ring- £2 Floral Lounge Pants- £6.. The most comfortable things ever! Basic Seamless Vest- £3
I had a couple of No7 £5 off vouchers and wasn't really too sure what to spend them on. I usually stock up on my face wipes and as much as I love them, since getting Liz Earles Cleanse & Polish I have decided I don't think I'm ever going to go back..for now anyway.

Initially I wanted to get some of the No7 Poppy King lipsticks, but if I'm honest, none of them screamed wow to me. I love the look of the packaging but the colours aren't very me.

I ended up with a foundation brush and a Moisture Drench lipstick in Iced Pink which is a lovely light pink- slightly more shimmer than I usually go for but its very pretty.

Foundation Brush- £12.50 before the voucher

Lipstick- £10 before the voucher

The Lauren Conrad Style Book that I have taken the photos on, I actually picked up a few weeks ago in Sussex Stationers for a bargain price of £3.99! Amaze.

These little Ballet Pumps are absolutely one of my favourite things, there so comfortable and easy to wear.

Last year I purchased two pairs of the peachy pink coloured ones and I was so excited when I saw this colour, they also have a lighter cream pair which I'm going to pick up.

Topshop- £16.

I hope your all enjoying this beautiful Spring weather.

Sorry this post is all so spaced out- its really playing up!

Trevor Sorbie Beautifully Moisturised; Shampoo, Conditioner & Mask

Trevor Sorbie Professional- Beautifully Moisturised Frizz-Free Shampoo 75ml
for fine/normal hair

"adds moisture to dry, damaged hair- leaving it nourished, soft and shiny. Helps to increase the resistance to hair damage, resulting in stronger, healthier looking hair..
With shine enchancing and heat protection technology..
Lightweight formula tailor made not to weigh down fine/normal hair
Can be used on colour treated hair"

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and am definitely going to go and repurchase it as soon as possible.
Its not like most Shampoo's that I have used where the product itself is like a creamy, runny consistency, this is almost like a "goo". No, its not a goo, I just don't know quite how to explain it. When I put it in my hands it feels like a non sticky gel, but it applies to the hair and lathers like a normal shampoo. I think this is where its "lightweight tailor made formula" comes in.
It feels really light when shampooing the hair, I usually do two washes and its left feeling throughly cleansed.
I smell is really fresh and clean smelling. It has a really familiar smell but I can't quite remember what. My boyfriend says bubblebath..hmm!
I really am 100% going to repurchase this, I haven't used it on its own, but with all three products I love the way my hair feels.

Trevor Sorbie Professional- Beautifully Moisturised Frizz-Free Conditioner 75ml
for normal/fine hair

"adds moisture to dry, damaged hair- leaving it nourished, soft and shiny. Helps to increase the resistance to hair damage, resulting in stronger, healthier looking hair..
With shine enchancing and heat protection technology..
Lightweight formula tailor made not to weigh down fine/normal hair
Can be used on colour treated hair"

Me and conditioner have a love-hate relationship, I love it and I need it in my life because without it my hairs an utter mess but I really don't enjoy using it because I feel it makes my hair too soft. It often weighs my hair down or makes it feel greasy. I dunno. BUT..
I really like this conditioner, I've mentioned about its lightweight formula and I think thats what does it for me.
Rather than being now I described the Shampoo as a "goo", this is more of a creamy traditional consistency.
In the instructions, it does say to leave it on for 2 minutes but I haven't. If I did, my hair would literally be so fly away so I kind of put it on, massage it in a little and rinse it out.
My hairs left feeling really nice. Not too fly away which makes me happy but soft enough that it falls and holds a style nicely.

Trevor Sorbie Professional- Beautifully Moisturised Ultimate Moisture Mask 150ml
for thick hair

"indulgent treatment designed to restore vitality and replenish dry, damaged hair. Hair will feel super soft, healthy and shiny.
Hydrates and smoothes the hair, reducing frizz. Extra moisturising formula tailor made for thick hair.
Can be used on colour treated hair"

I love a hair treatments, there one of my lifes little treasures. I suffer with quite heat damaged, dry hair so I need intense treatments quite often.
Its recommended that you use this once a week after shampooing and conditioning and leave on for 3-5 minutes.
It says its for thick hair, but that it seems is just because it offers "extra moisturising" for thick hair, I haven't got thick hair whatsoever, but it isn't doing any harm!
I know I said with conditioner I don't like to leave it on, but when I'm using a treament or a mask I think its really important to because it really needs the time to do the job, for the best results.
I don't use a lot of product, maybe like a 50p coin size and just make sure I distribute it evenly.
My hair is so super shiny and feels in much better condition after using it.

These products all really do help beat frizz. Normally after blowdrying ,my hairs a big bouffant of frizz but after using these its suprisingly tame. I'm really excited by this, it helps keep my hair straighter and neater once I've straightened it or styled it, rather than slowly turning into a big frizz.

The full size versions of the Shampoo and Conditioner retail for about £5.10 and at the moment on trevorsorbie.com you can buy them on 3 for 2, aswell as the other products in the range.

You can also buy the mini set of them, a control spray and 2 clips in a little bag half price for £5- bargain, so the websites definitely worth having a look at. Click here :)

A little hair ramble

Now I know this is going to sound a little daft, because yes it is me in these photos..But I want this hair colour!
This photo was taken in a mirror- obviously, against direct amazing sunlight.
I want it!

My hairs just a dull mess at the moment and in complete need of a big change.
I was blonde about 5/6 years ago now then I was brown with blonde, then dark brown, black, red, blahblahblah.... I'm now stuck. I think I would like to go lighter, but not blonde.
Hair just confuses me. I've had every length possible, mostly really short though so I would like to experience longer hair. I've always wanted to try hair extentions, but never really found fab ones that 1. are a shortish long length? and 2. would suit me and my hair tone.
Wahhh!

I hope your all well and having a fab weekend, I'm just going to go and have some of my boyfriends birthday cake- yum!

New CID Cosmetics- i-volumise and i-glow

New CID Cosmetics- i-volumise- Black Brown 2104
Ultimate Volumising Mascara

I was really excited to try this mascara because I am always looking around for a great new volumising product.
The packaging is very simple yet sleek, its in quite a small chunky tube which I really like.
The white packaging is nice, but I do prefer my make up packaging to be darker because I tend to get it a little dirty. Inside, I think the applicator would be better if it was dark because the product gets all over it and it looks a little messy.

The product itself is quite wet, which is nice to use but I find that because of that it isn't very dramatically nor volumising on my eyelashes. It almosts looks natural.

I got this is Black Brown but it is available in Black, which maybe contributes to the reason why I think its gives quite a natural effect.
My eyelashes need quite a bit of work, because theres barely anything there.
I don't think the fact that it looks more natural than dramatic is necessarily a bad thing, infact I like it, its nice to use for a day time mascara.
The bristles on the wand are a mixture of small chunky soft bristles with a longer spikey comb like bristle either side. I like that because it brushes through the lash and seperates but at first I didn't realise and scratched my upper water line a little which is a little uncomfortable. Whoops!!
This mascara costs £18 and is available on the New CID Cosmetics website.

New CID Cosmetics- i-glow- Coral Crush 0303
Compact Shimmer Powder with Mirror

Words literally can't express how I feel about this product. I LOVE IT!

"For a fresh, lumious look, dust i-glow Ice Pop or Coral Crush over the apples of cheeks, face, neck and shoulders with a big powder brush. Work the brush into different areas of the marbleised powder to pick up different shades"

The compact is quite square and chunky and I really love it. Its not as shiny packaging as the mascara, its more matted and its fab. The mirror inside covers the whole compact which is also fab.

The colours of the powder are marbleised pinks, corals and golds and when brushes onto the skin you are left with the most fresh, pretty colour. Its also really highlighting.

I just use it on the apples of my cheeks and it works wonderfully. Its really light and you don't need much product at all.

This costs £24 and is available in another shade Sirocco which is golden rather than coral.

You can buy this online here

I've seen these products in House of Fraser and Debenhams but for full stocklists, click here

Shavata Brow Perfector

SI'm so obsessed with eyebrows and I'm forever getting brow envy.
When I got this I was so happy as I truely believe this could be the way forward for my eyebrows.
Goodbye to the pencil, hello to Shavata Brow Perfector Cream Shadows.

It comes in a little mirrored compact, with three different shades which you can either use individually or blended together to create the perfect shade to enhance your brows.
It does have two brushes, I'm not sure where the second disappeared to during the making of this post.
I apply this using a small angled eyeliner/eyebrow brush as the ones provided are a little tiny.

I use the second colour, but I am going to have a little play around with it and experiment with different shades. It's really light but very buildable.

This retails for £19.50 and you can buy it on the online Shavata store or at a Shavata Brow Studio- Harrods, selected House of Frasers, Debenhams and Harvey Nichols, where you could also treat yourself to a little eyebrow or lash treatment!

What I wore and what I purchased..

Shoes from Primark
Topshop Blazer from last year
Topshop Skinny Jeans. I want to say there Baxter ones but I'm not sure.
Truly Madly Deeply tee from Urban Oufitters
Holiday Bracelets
Casio Mini Gold Watch
Primark Ring
17 Night Shade on my nails, with 17 Matte finish on top, you can't see the matte finish but it really looks fab- a BOY even commented on it and said it was nice!

I popped into my local MAC Counter to get some foundation and picked up Snob aswell, I've heard so many good things about it and can't believe I haven't purchased it before. The foundation was my usual- Studio Fix Fluid NC35
Beware- RANT!
I've said it once but I'm going to have to say it again, I'm SO fed up with the attitude of the girls at my local counter- apart from one of them whos really kind. Its clear for some unknown reason they don't like me, I swear I'm not being paranoid. It's either that, or there just plain horrible. But I would hate to say that because I'm sure there normally lovely. They are just SO rude to me. It's not like I waste there time or anything- to be honest they don't ever help anyway but aghhh! Okay rant over.

River Island Stunt for Denim Week. Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Campaign

Hey guys,
Those of you that follow me on Twitter will know that I love a good campaign and the other day tweeted about 25% off Selected Jeans for Denim Week at River Island.

A stunt took place in Liverpool where hundreds of locals dropped there old jeans or trousers in the middle of the street, and walked away with brand new River Island Jeans. It was all done for a brilliant, important cause.

I've seen the video tweeted a few times, but incase you havent you can check it out here.
There old jeans were donated to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer and over 112 items were collected for charity throughout the day.

I was mostly drawn to this after the focus that it brings to a cause close to my heart.

The charity is as I mentioned above, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer which I'm sure you all will have seen or read about.

Its the flagship fashion campaign of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimately- the eradication of breast cancer.
Since 1996, over £11million has been raised and this year there is a target for £1 million.

Money raised through Fashion Targets Breast Cancer has helped to open and fund work at the UK's first dedicated Breast Cancer Research Centre and three units around the UK.
If you want to donate to the charity, click here.
We all know how important charity is, so tweet and share the video and help get some more awareness.
25% off Selected Jeans in River Island started on the 11th March and will be running until the 20th March.
I hope your all well xx

Ardell False Eyelashes- BLACK 105

I was sent these Ardell lashes in Black 105 and couldn't wait to get them stuck on.
For my eyes, I thought they would be quite huge. I normally only use corner lashes, but infact, they actually looked okay. I had a look on Ardells website, and these lashes are recommended for Large eyes- as you can see, I have quite small eyes.
My left eye is smaller that the right, and I wasn't as happy with how it looked on that one, but I think maybe after a little trim they will be perfect.
These lashes come with adhesive and are packed in a little carry case which is so handy as I lose so many lashes all of the time!

They are really lightweight, soft and so pleasant to use.
Ardell lashes are made from sterilized 100% Human hair to look and feel like your own, which explains why they are so soft as opposed to other brands I have used in the past that feel quite cheap.

Ardell has the worlds largest selection of easy to use, premium quality false lashes.
I can't believe I haven't purchased any before.
After looking on there website, they have so many I'm going to try.
They have a HUGE selection, and there website is incredibly helpful. I know some of my friends never know which ones to try because they don't know what will suit them, but on the Ardell website, there all categorised into eye shapes, styles and occasions. They even have a 'Find your perfect lash' tool which is fab.
Have a little look here.

These particular lashes retail for about £5/£6

(please excuse my dressing gown, my fake tan was drying..)

On my face I'm wearing Studio Fix Fluid NC35
On my lips I'm wearing MAC Gaga

Yesturday I was going to dye my hair back to a darker maybe redish colour but I couldn't decide. My hairs so lifeless at the moment-boo! I'm thinking of doing it tomorrow if I come to a decision.

I searched asos but I can't really see much I'm in love with. I want to spend my amazing Groupon voucher! I did however treat myself to a new bottle of Xen Tan Dark Lotion.

I passed all my exams with 100% last week so I'm feeling very relaxed and happy now.

I went to the seaside and visited family.

I wore my Dollybowbow bracelet for the first time in ages and it broke :(
I dug out this old Topshop top,I hardly wore when it was new and chose to brighten up my day and wear it.

I had to get photos done in the photobooth. I hate these things! It normally takes about 3 sets of photos until I'm happy, this time I settled for the first ones.
I had a gorgeous Costa. Hello Double Chocolate Flake Iced Dessert.
This is becoming something I do every Saturday.

I wore a pair of shoes that haven't been worn before.

Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream

I know that recently my blogs been a little product review heavy, but I have so many wonderful things I want to share with you before I get back to work. There hasn't been many "faces" on my blog due to the fact that I've been working and don't look particulary share-able.

This is something I HAVE to share with you.
Oilatum Natural Repair Face Cream

I've only used it for a couple of weeks now, but I'm sure its working wonders on my skin.
I don't really have bad skin anyway, but I feel as if my skin is so hydrated and soft at the moment.

I have been looking for a moisturiser that will be good for when I'm at work. As you may know I'm an air hostess, so my skin gets very dehydrated in the conditions. This was recommended to me and so I was very keen to purchase it.

It kind of reminds me of E45; the consistency, look and even the smell.

What they say.
"Specially formulated to intensively nourish and help repair you skins natural barrier...Penetrates deeply to rehydrate, relieving tightness and irritation and leaving it feeling smooth"
"Smooth onto skin whenever it feels dry, tight or itchy. Light enough to be used under make up. Ideal for every day use"
Absolutely.

My skin really feels so good. So smooth. So soft. So moisturised. It's also works so well under your make up.
I love it.

It comes in a 50ml tube and I managed to get one in Boots as apart of the 3 for 2 deal for £7.65. I say managed, because everytime I went to buy it, it was sold out.
I also saw it in Sainsburys so got one there too, and it was on special offer for about £4. Yay!

I really recommend that you try this, its actually brilliant.
