Origins & Ojon Christmas Offerings

At the beginning of last week I was invited over to St Martins Lane Hotel to sip on Champagne whilst being taken through the products that both Origins and Ojon have to offer this festive season.

This year, both Origins and Ojon have been favourite brands of mine and their products have very much become go-to essentials for me.
I particularly love Origins Face Masks and am the biggest fan of Ojons Volume Advance Hair Care, but this Christmas some very special products are available and they are already going down a treat and appearing on both mine and many of my friends Christmas lists.

Some special offerings Origins have this year, are their Christmas Crackers and Christmas Baubles, which are both full of fabulous sample sized best selling products and decorated so beautifully and festive. I know first hand how popular these are, especially the Baubles because so many of my friends have been picking them up for Chritsmas Treats. They are both exclusive to Selfridges and available online here.
Origins also have some beautiful Ginger scented products available that smell delicious, I'm not usually very fond of the smell of Ginger but there is something about it that is just incredible, the smell fills the room and it's just a cosy delight. These products are also available in a range of gift sets and available from Origins here

In terms of Ojon, since trying the Ojon hair care and absolutely raving about it I have often been asked whether they sell sample size bottles many a time, and this year they have some fantastic products available, all sold together in sets for really reasonable prices.
Volume Advance is by far my favourite range and fortunately there is a great gift idea available, The Volume Advance Revive and Refresh set, which is pictured above, costs just £20 and contains;
Volume Advance Volumizing Shampoo 60ml
Volume Advance Volumizing Conditioner 60ml
Full Detox Rub Out Dry Cleansing Spray 83ml

I'm sure all both Origins and Ojon products will be gracing many stockings this year, do you hope to open any of these gifts this coming Christmas day?

Benefit High Flyin' Glosses

Coralista, Dallas, Bella Bamba, Hoola, Sugarbomb, Dandelion

I'm not really much of a lipgloss girl and to be honest, never really have been but if you're into glossy lips with a beautiful shine then this Benefit High Flyin' Lipgloss set* is an absolutely brilliant opportunity to get your hands on six of Benefits most popular shaded lip glosses, all at once.

The set is made up of six 6.5ml Ultra Plush glosses in the shades;
Coralista- Sheer Coral
Dallas- Dusty Rose
Bella Bamba- Sheer Bright Watermelon
Hoola- Shimmering Golden Nude
Sugarbomb- Shimmering Pink Nude
Dandelion- Soft Pearl Pink

Although like I said, I'm not the biggest gloss fan, these products are a pleasure to work with. They're not sticky glosses and apply smoothy to the lips without too much work. They offer quite subtle, but still very complimentary pigmentation and leave my lips feeling ever so moisturised after application.

Although I have applied these on bare lips, to show you the colour that they offer, they work beautifully well on top of lipsticks to add a little more shine, shimmer and in some cases completely transform a way a colour can look on your lips.

The glosses themselves are quite small in size, but they are still a nice size in that they aren't going to run out super quickly and you will most certainly get lots of wear from them.
If you're like me and tend to carry around a selection of lip products with you, then I think these are in fact the perfect size.

This Benefit High Flyin' Ultra Plush set is available at Benefit counters, stores and online here and cost just £19.50 which works out at an incredible £3.25 each!

Are you a lipstick or a lipgloss girl? Would these six super pretty glosses have you high flyin'?

Benefit Let There Be Bright

A suitcase full of products sounds like a dream right? Well Benefit have made dreams come true with this Let There Be Bright* skin care set.

It's a little different to the other Benefit sets that I have been blogging about over the last couple of months, in that this is based on the best of Benefit skin care products rather than cosmetics.
It's a beautifully put together set and inside the clip locked box, in amongst the confetti is four beautiful boxes containing some wonderful skin prepping products;

Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion for All Skin Type 50.3ml
Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream 14.2g
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream for Normal to Dry Skin 8.9g
Benefit Porefessional 7.5ml

I particularly love the way the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion, It's Potent Eye Cream and Total Moisture Facial Cream are packaged. They are typical dresser products for me, in that they look perfect sat with your other products, in their weighty glass bottles and tubs.
The cork looking (plastic) lids are such a nice touch and make them look like such pretty little lotions and potions.

I think this is a perfect set for a Benefit fan who already has all things Benefit Blushers, Bronzers and Bad Gal Lashes and wants to move into their skin care or if you're simply just looking for some nice treats for your skin.

I haven't tried the products extensively, but on first impressions I do find them pleasant and the eye cream definitely brightens up my eyes on an early morning.
Porefessional is a favourite for many and this little sample size is a great little addition for your make up bag. It's perfect if you're going away for a few days or if you just want to trial it.

This Benefit Let There Be Bright set costs £39 and is available in Benefit stores, counters and online here

Will you be picking up a Benefit travel case of goodies?

Lacoste Touch of Pink Girls Night In Gift Set

I personally love nothing more than a well planned girls night in. Whether it's an evening with your friends or just a chilled out pamper night, it's fair to say, that for me nothing else beats it.

I love the whole process of getting ready and the night before a big night out is my absolute favourite. Prepping my hair, giving myself a facial, fake tanning and painting my nails is a must and this Lacoste Touch of Pink Girls Night In gift set* for me, is great for that occasion.

The Gift Set includes
Lacoste Touch of Pink Eau de Toilette 50ml
Body Lotion 50ml
Shower Gel 50ml
Toe Dividers
Cosmetics Pouch
Slippers
Headband
Nail Fails

The Toe Dividers, Shower Gel, Slippers, Headband and Nail Files are absolutely perfect for when it comes to preparation but for me, the main aspects of this kit are the Body Lotion and the Touch of Pink Eau de Toilette, which make for the perfect additions before you're heading out the door.
The scent which is described as fruity-floral, is perfect for a youthful young lady. It's very feminine and I would say it's the perfect in-between of a young and more grown-up fragrance, not being too sweet and not too floral either.

This Lacoste Touch of Pink Gift Set has a RRP of £59.99 although is currently available to buy in Superdrug for £29.50.

What do you think of this set? Would it add the perfect touch of Pink for you?

Benefit Go TropiCoral Lip & Cheek Kit

I'm very much a fan of Benefits box sets and have been using my How to look the best at everything and Sugarlicious Deliciously Nude Lip and Cheek Kit sets that I blogged about a while ago so much since receiving them. Benefit offer the perfect kits as they give you the opportunity to try the cosmetics, without spending out on full size products immediately. This Benefit Go TropiCoral Lip and Cheek Set* is very similar to the Sugarlicious Deliciously Nude set, though this comes with a different colour palette of products- Coral rather than Nude.

This works as the perfect set to add some heat into your Winter looks and as stated in the title, is full of Coral goodness which is my all time favourite.

This set includes;
Benefit High Beam 4ml
Cha Cha Tint 4ml
Coralista 3g
Ultra Plush Coralista 6.5ml

Coralista is a particularly popular Benefit product and is up there in the list of so many girls favourite blushes. It's a beautiful Coral-Pink shades and adds a real warmness to your cheeks.
Cha Cha Tint is another of Benefits multi-use products which are extremely popular too. It's multifunction in that it is a Cheek and Lip tint and can be worn just to add a subtle bit of colour and is perfect if you want to keep your make up bag to a minimum. It's described as a Mango shade and is quite vibrant in the pot but to be honest once it's blended out it's pretty subtle.
Ultra Plush Coralista is a sheer Coral lipgloss that feels super soft on the lips, it definitely isn't too sticky which is what I find puts me off most glosses, instead it's extremely light and looks and smells delicious.
Benefit High Beam is a product that seems to be in majority of their sets. I'm sure it's a best seller of theirs as I know for sure that it's a product that is in all of my friends make up bags as it has been mine for ages, I actually remember getting my first one when I was about 15. Applied lightly and blended into the cupids bow and above the cheekbones, High Beam works as such a lovely highlight.

This box has a mirrored lid which is visible when uncovered by the detachable and very handy tips and tricks booklet. This very simply give you tips and pretty diagrams of how to use the products in the best way possible.

I am such a fan of Benefit box sets like this and although the products are miniatures they are still good enough sizes that aren't going to run out super quickly. The brush is pretty tiny, which is probably a negative to some people, although I don't really tend to use them anyway.

This Benefit Go TropiCoral is available at Benefit stores, counters and online here and costs £24.50.

Boots Star Gift Offer, Personalised Tags and a Christmas Advert

If you're like me and crazy about Christmas, then I'm sure you love stocking up on gifts in stores such as Boots to make the most of their incredible ranges, star gift offers and 3 for 2.

This week sees this fantastic, product full Sanctuary Spa Sheer Indulgence Gift Box* on their Boots Star Gift Offer costing an incredible £19 rather than it's usual price of £40.

This heavenly vanity box includes:
Sanctuary Spa Body Wash 250ml
Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak 250ml
Sanctuary Spa Body Scrub 200ml
Sanctuary Spa Body Butter 300ml
Sanctuary Spa Body Lotion 75ml
Sanctuary Spa Luxury Bath Float 75ml
Sanctuary Spa Intensive Rescue Heel Balm 75ml
Sanctuary Spa Shower Cap

The offer is running for one week only until the 15th November and I  think this makes such a perfect gift and for less than half its normal price, if you're looking for a gift for a lady that loves to be pampered (or even a treat for yourself), then you'd be crazy not to pick one up.

This Gift Box is available in wwww.boots.com stores and here online.

As well as tons of fab offers, this year Boots are also offering something a little special to make your gifts that little more personal. Larger stores are offering customers free personalised gift tags with purchases, where you simply scan the QR code on the tag, record a special video message on your smartphone and then attach it to the gift ready to be watched by your loved ones on Christmas morning. I think it's pretty cool idea and adds a really nice little touch to any gift.

If that wasn't enough Christmas'ness for you, on Thursday, I was lucky enough head over to a very lush location in London to preview the fabulous new Boots Christmas Advert. It actually premieres this evening, but if you can't wait until then- here it is. The people in the advert are all real couples and families and although pretty much every Christmas Advert is amazing in my eyes, this one feels particularly real and very lovely.

Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything Flawless Complexion Kit

How beautiful is this Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything* set? It's completely to my taste both in terms of the products it is home to and the way it is presented.

In the form of a pretty little book, this Benefit flawless complexion kit includes
Miniature Benefit Brush
Porefessional 7.5ml
Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow in "I'm so money" Honey 7ml
Boi-ing in  02 and 03 1.5ml
Hello Flawless in "I'm cute as a bunny" Honey 4g

This set is made up of a range of perfect colours aimed towards medium skin tones, although it is available in Light and Deep too, with the same products but in more suitable shades.
Like the Sugarlicious Delicious Nude Lip & Cheek set that I blogged about here I think these are perfectly reasonably sized products if you're wanting to try out the products but don't want to buy them individually or even if you have already tried these and just want smaller versions for your make up bag. They're the sweetest little additions to this adorable box.

Though to begin with, I was never really a fan of Porefessional like so many people are, it is definitely growing on me and like I said this is the perfect size to keep in your make up bag for on the go. I actually have this size product already, which I was given as a sample to try and honestly it's lasted me a fair while.
My favourite product in this set has to be Boi-ing which comes in both 02 and 03. It is a lovely concealer, packaged in a little plastic clipped set which is absolutely perfect to carry around for touch ups.
These two shades can be blended together to make the perfect shade to cover dark under-eye circles and imperfections or in my case used singly depending on how tanned I am.

This book like box is also mirrored, the mirror sits behind the very handy detachable tips & tricks book which gives you tips alongside pretty little diagrams of how to use these products to perfection.

I really love everything about this Benefit set- the beautiful design and the products and I will definitely be making use of Benefits extra tip which is to remove the products and use the box to keep my treasures inside.

This How To Look The Best At Everything cosmetics box costs £24.50 which I really do think is super reasonable for such a beautifully put together product and is available at Benefit Counters and both in stores and online here.
