Sleek Blush- Sahara

Sleek Sahara is one of those shades that in the pan, completely terrifies me, but in actual fact, is a gorgeous product that worn correctly is the perfect finishing touch to a make up look.

A darker toned matte Orangey Brown, Sahara is a lovely shade that lightly dusted onto my cheeks, gives my face some warmth and is the perfect accompanying shade to a bronzed up look- making it in my opinion, a perfect holiday blusher.

Really pigmented to touch, although not overbearing on brushes, I find just the right amount of product is picked up for a subtle warmth. Like other Sleek blushes that I have tried, I find the quality pretty outstanding when you take into consideration the super reasonable price tag. Soft on the skin, nicely blendable and long lasting, for £4.49 you really can't go wrong.

Sleek products are all available to buy at counters in Superdrug.

Have you tried Sahara? What's your favourite Sleek blush?

Sleek Blush- Rose Gold

Sleeks Rose Gold* is one of those blushes that I have heard people raving about for years but due to it being Rose hued rather than my typical Peachy tone, I'd never really considered picking it up, which now I am absolutely kicking myself for.

Very similar to the likes of Sleek Guipure though slightly darker and similarly a great dupe for Nars Orgasm, Sleeks Rose Gold is a deep Pink tone that has an amazing Gold Shimmer that runs through it. Not my normal kind of shade, I've surprisingly been really enjoying a light dusting of this on my cheeks, for a really subtle Pink glow and find it completes my look perfectly.

At an incredible £4.49 for 8g of product, if you're on the hunt for a Nars Orgasm dupe or if you simply just want a Rosy glow to your cheeks, Rose Gold is a dream and can be purchased in Superdrug

Have you tried Sleeks Rose Gold? Do you have any Sleek recommendations?

Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Fuchsia

With the weather taking a little a slight turn and my mind not completely ready for the change, I decided to whip out one of the brightest of bright lipsticks that has been sat untouched in my collection waiting for a rainy day and Sleeks True Colour Lipstick in Fuchsia* did the trick at brightening up my day perfectly.

I'm quite the newbie when it comes to Sleek products, which is pretty shocking as they have so many fabulously pigmented shades that are great dupes for higher end products and in terms of lipsticks, though Fuchsia isn't my day to day kind of shade, the formula and pigmentation is absolutely incredible.

With just a couple of sweeps, my lips were coated with one the brightest toned Pinks I've laid my eyes on in a long time which stayed put for a pretty long time before feeling like it needed any attention. It definitely isn't an everyday shade for me as I now prefer something a lot more subtle, but the formula really is very lovely so I'll definitely be checking out the Sleek stand for their Peachy shades.

Creamy and intense looking on the lips, Sleeks lipsticks are available to buy in Superdrug costing just £4.99 and if you're on the market for a soft and seriously pigmented product for a statement lip, then this is your answer.

What do you think of bright shades? Is Sleek Fuchsia your kind of Pink?

Sleek Blush by 3 Lace

Top to bottom- Crochet, Guipure, Chantilly

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in this post that I really wanted to get the Sleek Blush by 3 palette in Lace, and after searching far and wide I finally managed to get my hold on a couple of them for me and a friend.
I know I'm not the only one that has had great difficulty in trying to get this, every Superdrug I have visited has all of the other shades but none of Lace, which I know has been the same case for so many of you.

I thought I'd get a quick swatch up of the shades, so that you can decide whether or not you really need it before searching for it like a crazy woman like myself.

I said before that I would have preferred them all to be matte, but in actual fact the Shimmer shade Guipure is absolutely lovely. It has gold tones to it, and used quite lightly which is rather necessary with these super pigmented blushes, is a really lovely shade and not in the slightest bit over the top which I often find with shimmer blushes.
It sits on my more bronzed make up really nicely and adds a little something special.

When Sleek describe these as intensely pigmented, they really weren't lying. They really are super pigmented but can be blended out to a really nice colour.

I think for £9.99 this is a really nice palette, and is definitely worth searching or least keeping a little eye out for.

The other palettes available are Pumpkin, Pink Spirit, Flame and Sugar and they can all be seen on my Superdrug event post here.

What do you think of Lace? Would it be a great addition to your collection like it is mine?

Superdrug Event- Sleek

This evening I popped along to the wonderful Haymarket Hotel to the Superdrug Press Show, which was showcasing all there new things for the Summer.

One brand that I always think of when it comes to Superdrug, is Sleek and so it is no surprise that whilst in the event I seemed to be quite attracted to the Sleek stand.

They have launched some absolutely beautiful new products and have a couple in the pipeline. There were two that especially stood out to me and I couldn't wait to share them with you.

First of all, Sleek Blush By 3.
These products are amazing. I want all of them and am pretty sure when I get a few spare pennies I will be treating myself.
There is five compacts in the Blush By 3 range, all of which include three shades of blushes;
Pumpkin
 Lace
 Pink Sprint
Flame
Sugar
I need Lace desperately (the top photo furthest to the right), its a combination of three Orange and Coral coloured blushes and is a delight.
The shades of all five palettes can be layered for a deeper intensity or worn on there own for a highly pigmented shade for your cheeks.
Pink Spirit is the only palette to be made up of three mattes as they others all have at least one shimmer shade, which although I'm not a huge fan of shimmer- these are all quite subtle.

These are fortunately available now from Superdrug and cost £9.99

Secondly are these amazing amazing additions to the very popular Contour Kit family.
Originally created with the two shade Contour Kit, Sleek have now created Face Form. A contour kit with a third product- either a highlighter or a blush.
These are available in four shades;
Fair- Contouring powder, highlighting powder and Rose Gold Blush
Light- Contouring powder, highlighting powder and Rose Gold Blush
Medium- Contouring powder, highlighting powder and a bronzer
Dark- Contouring powder, highlighting powder and a darker bronzer.

I really like the size of these products, and the fact that even with a mirror they are still very compact and sleek.

I can see these being a very popular product so will be grabbing one as soon as I can.

These will be available in Superdrug in March and will cost just £8.99

Have you seen any of the Sleek Blush By 3 palettes and will you be keeping a little eye out for the Face Form Palettes?

Sleek Pout Polish- The Afterparty

Hey sweets,

Whilst I was at Westfield Stratford on Saturday, I fortunately managed to pop along to the Sleek Pop Up Shop for a little look.
When I finally found it, it was pretty busy however I did get a little look around.

In the pop up shop, you was able to be colour matched, have your make up done, mix the pout paints to get your desired colour amongst other exciting little make up based things.
All of the stock was 3 for 2 and I'm now incredibly annoyed at myself that I didn't pick up any Havana lashes- I was so tired at this point and I didn't even think about it.

I was given a little Sleek Pout Polish in 959 The Afterparty for simply giving my name and email address, which I was pretty happy about.

I'm really pleased with this product, I wore it today and it feels and looks really nice on the lips. It feels just like the MAC lip conditioner that I use everyday which isn't really what I expected at all.
It's not as bright as it looks in the pan which is nice too, I think in the pan it may be slightly too pink for me. It gives a lovely tint to the lip- I think over a lighter shade of lipstick this could look beautiful.
I'm really not much of a glossed look girl so I didn't build it up too much, however I imagine it you would be able to create a bold lip with this balm-like formula it if that was the look you was going for.

I'm a little bit of a Sleek make up virgin but I think that may possibly change now. Theres a few things I have my eye on- mainly the very popular Contour Kit and Pout Paints so watch this space!

A few little photos I took in Westfield before my battery died- including the Sleek Pop Up Shop itself.

You can browse the Sleek Website and the Pout Polishes yourself here.

Do you have a favourite Sleek product and what would you recommend?

Eylure Lashes

My favourite thing at the moment has to be individual lashes. As much as I love make up- I really don't get on very well with mascara. My lashes aren't very fab, and no amount of mascara will help them.
I'm sorry this isn't my own picture, I really don't like doing this, I got it from the Eylure website. Half of mine are missing and so the photo wasn't very attractive.

This is the Eylure Collection -Individual Lashes.

You can buy exactly the same thing for half of the price in a standard packet, but I do prefer them in a plastic case because they stay protected.

They cost about £10 and I got them from Topshop.

They are really easy to apply. I used 2 medium and a large on the outer corners of each eye with a little bit of the Eylure Glue and a pair of tweezers.

In the picture above if any of you are wondering- I am wearing a little bit of MAC's Victorian Lippy over a little bit of Myth.

I really enjoy wearing false lashes. I have quite small eyes, so if I wear strips I have to half them, but even then strips are a little bit too much for my eyes.
Yesturday I picked up Eylure Corner Lashes from the Miss Eylure Collection in Superdrug. They are actually brilliant. They are pre-glued which made me wonder if they would last, but they lasted through a really big night out which is wonderful.
I get the impression these are like the "beginners" lashes, which suits me fine because they are so easy to apply. They are completely reusable. You get two glued strips in each pack aswell as the one the one thats already on the lashes to begin with.

They come in lots of little styles, I got the corner ones named "Flora- Enough clothes? I don't know what you mean" - cutee! They are alot shorter than the original corner lashes from Eylure, which suits my eyes alot better.

They only cost £3.49!

Look at the cute little plane necklace my best friend Nikki got me to wear on my leaving night. Doesn't really match, but fits in with the whole thing that I'm starting my Cabin Crew job next week! Excitedd! Love, Love it!

Last year at the Clothes Show Live in London I purchased some Sleek Corner Lashes.
They was amazing! I loved them, I got 3 packets and unfortunately I can't find any sleek counter that sells them anymore- Please help! I'm hoping they will have them this year. If you know anywhere that I can get them pleasee let me know!

I also am on the hunt for somewhere that does Eyelash Extentions in London really well? I'm interested in getting them done, my lashes need some love :(
